[EN/PT-BR] Hive Grove: The fire didn't even go out! Campfire v2

It’s insane—that’s all I can say about the community support for Hive Grove. I’m happy that so many people have paid attention and are contributing to building something that keeps getting bigger and better.

I know many people have provided feedback and contributions, but I have to give a special shout-out to @beelzael for everything he’s done, offering great tips and cool ideas to help us focus even more on interaction and communication.

The last update was about the Campfire—a space where we could chat and interact more directly. Even though version 1.0 didn't turn out exactly as he envisioned, my commitment is to make it happen and put the ideas the community shares with me into practice! That’s why I can say I’m already rolling out a "version 2.0" of Campfire—one that truly embodies the original vision. Campfire will operate based on "topics," which serve as the top-level message for a container or post; from there, all interactions are grouped by these topics to make navigation and engagement easier for everyone!

This approach makes things more organized and simplifies discussions on specific subjects—whether in-game or out—which is going to be great. I’m really excited about this concept and how it’s being implemented. We might still need to tweak a few things here and there, but either way, Hive Grove is shaping up to be awesome!

As you can see, the initial idea involves separating content by topic; within that topic, we can chat, discuss ideas, share memes or images—whatever you decide. Of course, the usual rules apply: remain respectful in your language and avoid sharing content that wouldn't be acceptable anywhere else. You know what I mean.

When you reply to a created topic, the response frame appears at the same level. As people start conversing with one another, a link is established between the parent and child comments, making it easy to track who you’re talking to. The goal is to get as close as possible to a chat experience—almost real-time—so you can easily converse with your friends.

I believe there is great potential for new features and implementations in Campfire. For instance, you could share a specific "wish item" you need directly as a topic, making it easier for others to see what you're looking for. I also think the "flag" feature could be used to create a topic asking people to focus on helping a specific tree.

Another idea that could work well is the ability to share once via the "Snaps" feature here on Peakd, and then share achievements or similar updates directly within Campfire; this would certainly encourage people to chat and connect with one another even more.

Plus a few other things:

As a topic receives more interactions, its color changes to make it stand out.

You can now paste images using Ctrl + V, just like on Peakd and other social networks.

In the "Network" tab, the "Who to Follow" results now include links to Grove profiles that open directly here on Peakd.

The work never stops! This is just the beginning of a new feature I'm implementing, and there is certainly more to come. I hope you enjoy it, use it, and share your feedback with me! Insano, é somente isso que tenho para dizer com todo o apoio da comunidade com o Hive Grove. Fico feliz que muitas pessoas tenham dado atenção e contribuam com a construção algo cada vez maior e melhor.

Sei que muitas pessoas deram seu feedback e sua contribuição, mas não tem como não destacar o @beelzael por tudo o que tem feito, com muitas dicas e ideias super maneiras para focar cada vez mais em interação e comunicação.

A ultima atualização foi sobre o Campfire, que seria um local onde poderíamos conversar e interagir de forma mais direta, apesar de que a versão 1.0 não ficou 100% da maneira como ele idealizou, meu compromisso é fazer acontecer e por em pratica as ideias que a comunidade passam para mim!

Por isso, posso dizer que já estou subindo uma versão 2.0 do Campfire, que agora sim segue a ideia imaginada por ele. O Campfire vai funcionar por "tópicos", que será a mensagem de primeiro nível do container/post depois disso, todas as interações serão agrupadas por estes tópicos para facilitar a navegação e interação das pessoas!

Dessa forma vai ficar mais organizado e fácil de discutir sobre algo em especial, dentro ou fora do jogo e isso vai ser bacana. Eu fiquei animado com essa proposta e a forma como ela está ficando implementada. Pode ser que ainda surjam algumas coisas a colocar ou remover, mas de qualquer forma, ta ficando super maneiro o Hive Grove!

Como vocês podem ver, separar por tópico a ideia inicial e assim, dentro deste tópico a gente pode conversar e discutir ideias, falar sobre memes ou imagens, o que você decidir. Claro que as regras são as de sempre: manter o respeito com as palavras e evitar compartilhar coisas que não seriam aceitas em lugar nenhum. Vocês me entendem quanto a isso.

Ao responder o tópico criado, o frame fica no mesmo nível, quando as pessoas começam a conversar ali entre elas, é criado o vinculo entre comentário pai e filho, assim você começa a se orientar com quem conversou com você. A ideia é se aproximar o máximo com um chat, quase que em tempo real para que você possa conversar com seus amigos.

Acredito que tem muito potencial para criar implementações e novidades no Campfire, como por exemplo, compartilhar o item de desejo que você precisa, ali mesmo, como um tópico, assim as pessoas vao ver melhor que você precisa de algo. Penso também que com o uso da bandeirinha, pode ser possível criar um tópico solicitando que as pessoas foquem em ajudar aquela árvore.

Outra coisa que pode dar certo, é você poder compartilhar uma vez nos Snaps que tem aqui no Peakd e depois permitir compartilhar mais alguma conquista ou algo assim dentro do próprio Campfire, isso com certeza pode atrair as pessoas para conversar e se relacionar mais ainda entre elas.

Além de algumas outras coisas também:

A medida que um tópico vai recebendo muitas interações, sua cor muda e se destaca.

Para colar uma imagem agora, você pode usar o Ctrl + V do teclado, igual funciona aqui no Peakd e em outras redes sociais.

Na aba Network, os resultados no "Who to Follow" agora também funcionam com o link para o perfil Grove e para abrir aqui no Peakd.
