Some fixes after the Season 2 update:

Some players received incorrect refunds, but this was due to an error in the Hive Grove code itself. On the first day of Season 2, the system refunded actual purchases of trees that remained planted.

The flaw was that the button only looked at a sample of about 100 groves and, if it didn't find any, it would open a random one without warning.

With this, I applied the following fix:

The server now only returns the groves that the player can water, searching all the groves in the game and with the same rules as when they help. The client uses this list and checks the first 10 against the actual state of the grove before opening. If the server fails, or is still the old version, it reverts to the old method.

When nobody needs help, a new message appears: "No grove needs your help right now — showing a random one".

The "Only available" and "Prioritize large groves" options in the Settings continue to work.

The problem: @slothlydoesit was having trouble finding the action to click on Profile and then Settings, because the arrow was a very small gray "▼". Some other players were also having a lot of trouble understanding that there were some options to access there.

So I made a change that will attract a lot of attention now haha.

The button now shows the Hive avatar, a large arrow in a green square that turns upwards when opened, a green border that is always visible, and text when hovering the mouse. It looks good on desktop, on the 375px mobile app, in the light theme, and in the vertical menu.

I also made some other small changes during the day, mostly translation corrections, improving mission cards to make them more readable, and things like that.

Algumas correções depois do update da season 2:

Aconteceu um reembolso indevido para alguns jogadores, mas no caso foi um erro do próprio código do Hive Grove. No primeiro dia da Season 2, o sistema devolveu compras reais de árvores que continuam plantadas.

Quem regava a árvore nova dentro de 10–20s depois de comprar criava o registro da árvore antes do chain-sync processar a compra. O chain-sync então achava o slot ocupado e a compra ia para o refund.

A correção foi realizada e agora, se o slot já tem uma árvore do mesmo tipo, criada até 60s antes da compra e ainda sem compra vinculada, a compra fica com essa árvore em vez de ser devolvida.

Surprise Me:

O problema descrito por @siddhartaz caía em bosques sem nada para regar. Como ele já tinha ajudado várias pessoas no dia e sobravam poucos para buscar os bosques que realmente precisavam de alguma ajuda. A falha era que o botão só olhava uma amostra de uns 100 bosques e, se não achasse nenhum, abria um aleatório sem avisar.

Com isso apliquei a seguinte correção:

O servidor agora devolve só os bosques que o jogador consegue regar, procurando em todos os bosques do jogo e com as mesmas regras de quando ele ajuda. O cliente usa essa lista e confere os 10 primeiros contra o estado real do bosque antes de abrir. Se o servidor falhar, ou ainda for a versão antiga, ele volta ao método antigo.

Quando ninguém precisa de ajuda, aparece um aviso novo: "Nenhum bosque precisa da sua ajuda agora — mostrando um aleatório".

As opções "Somente disponíveis" e "Priorizar bosques grandes" das Settings continuam funcionando.

O problema: o @slothlydoesit estava com dificuldades para encontrar a ação de clicar no Perfil e depois em Settings, porque a seta era um "▼" cinza e muito pequeno. Alguns outros jogadores também estava com muita dificuldade de entender que ali tinha algumas opções para acessar.

Com isso fiz uma mudança que vai chamar bastante atenção agora haha.

O botão agora mostra o avatar da Hive, uma seta grande num quadrado verde que vira para cima ao abrir, borda verde sempre visível e um texto ao passar o mouse. Ficou bom no desktop, no celular de 375px, no tema claro e no menu vertical.

Fiz tambem algumas outras mudanças pequenas durante o dia, foram mais correções de traduções, melhoria de card de missões para ficarem mais legíveis e coisas do tipo.
