Chapter 14 Salt Awakening Started!

The start of the Salt Awakening chapter brought a new feature: the return of NFTs in the game's chests. However, there was a small "problem" during the first hour after the update was released. The reason is unclear, but the MEGA NFTs—those obtained with 6000 or 10000 tickets and which take the entire season to acquire—had a 5% chance of being obtained each from the Luxury Chest, resulting in a large number of minted items.

Imagine, on the first day of the event, players already had 4 or 5 copies of the main season items. Players were quite upset. After all, all the effort a person would put into participating in the entire season would have been significantly reduced because the supply was already high, and many more were still to come. This led many players to consider skipping this chapter and preparing for the next one.

But after hearing the complaints, the Sunflower Land devs decided to backtrack, changing the percentage to 0.9%, which is still quite high considering that before the chance was only 0.29% and already caused supply problems, and they removed the NFTs from the players, leaving only one copy, which resulted in 183 Bubble Aura, 183 Deep Sea Salt Cave Background, and 171 Dino Egg being minted. This is discouraging, but doesn't completely prevent participation in the chapter.

Now, regarding strategies, there are 3 main ones being considered by Sunflower Lands players. The first, considering the extra supply at the start of the season and the initial confusion, is to skip this chapter, focusing only on the monument, which is an exclusive item and cannot be traded. To do this, the player simply needs to make the cheapest deliveries to easily achieve this feat.

The next two are more complicated because to get the Deep Sea Salt Cave Background and the Bubble Aura, it's necessary to buy the +1 ticket items, which cost 50 flower and 100 flower. I'm still unsure if I really need that second 100 flower item to reach the background, because without it, from what I've observed, I'd get very close to 6000 tickets. However, since there will be some expensive deliveries over the 84 days of the chapter, it's very likely that the extra cost to reach the tickets will be close to the cost of getting the extra tickets with the outfit that grants +1, not to mention that the outfit gives tickets in the daily delivery, which gives more points for the track, which doesn't change much, but it's something extra.

For those curious about the Bubble Aura, it's really necessary to have both buffs, and you'll need to complete many missions, bounties, and dedicate yourself well to get there. It's curious, because since the chapter is focused on salt, the +5 salt collection bonus from the background seems even more interesting than the Bubble Aura, which could lead to oversupply. So it's very important to pay attention to how much you'll spend to get the NFT, so that the same thing doesn't happen as in the last season, where the supply exceeded expectations. And since salt is a new resource that can be sold on the market, many should have its background as a goal for this chapter.

Entretanto, houve um pequeno "problema" durante a primeira hora que a atualização foi lançada, não se sabe exatamente o porque, mas os NFTs MEGA, aqueles que são obtidos com 6000 ou 10000 tickets e que leva toda a temporada para conseguir, estavam com 5% de chance cada um para serem obtidos no Luxury Chest, o que fez com que uma grande quantidade deles fossem mintados.

Já imaginou no primeiro dia de evento, os jogadores já com 4 ou 5 cópias dos principais items da temporada, os jogadores ficaram bem revoltados. Afinal, todo o esforço que uma pessoa teria ao participar de toda a temporada já teria sido bem abalado porque o supply já estava alto e ainda haveriam muitos outros chegando. Isso fez com que muitos jogadores já considerassem pular esse capítulo e se preparar para o próximo.

Mas ouvindo as reclamações, os devs do Sunflower Land resolveram voltar atrás, mudando a porcentagem para 0,9% o que ainda é bem alto se pensar que antes a chance era só de 0,29% e já causava problemas com relação ao supply, e retiraram os NFTs dos jogadores, deixando apenas uma cópia, o que fez com que ficassem mintados 183 Bubble Aura, 183 Deep Sea Salt Cave Background e 171 Dino Egg. Isso já desanima, mas não inviabiliza tanto a participação no capítulo.

Agora com relação as estratégias, existem 3 principais que estão sendo consideradas pelos jogadores de Sunflower Lands. A primeira é já considerando o supply extra no início de season e essa confusão inicial, pular esse capítulo, focando apenas no monumento que é um item exclusivo e não pode ser comercializado. Para isso, basta o jogador fazer as entregas mais baratas que facilmente conseguirá essa conquista.

As próximas duas já ficam mais complicadas, porque para conseguir o Deep Sea Salt Cave Background e o Bubble Aura, já é necessário comprar os items de +1 ticket que custam 50 flower e 100 flower. Ainda estou na dúvida, se realmente precisaria desse segundo item de 100 flower para chegar no background, porque sem ele pelo que observei chegaria bem próximo de 6000 tickets, mas como teriam algumas entregas caras, ao longo dos 84 dias do capítulo é bem provável que o custo extra para chegar nos tickets seja próximo do custo de conseguir os tickets extras com a roupa que garante +1, sem contar que a roupa dá tickets na entrega diária que dá mais pontos para o track, o que não muda muito, mas é algo a mais.

Para quem está curioso para a Bubble Aura é realmente necessário ter os dois buffs, e vai precisar entregar muitas missões, bounties e se dedicar bem para chegar lá. É curioso, porque pelo capítulo ser focado no sal o bonus de +5 de coleta de sal do background parece ser até um pouco mais interessante do que a Bubble aura, o que pode fazer com que haja um oversupply, então é bem importante ficar atento no quanto vai gastar para conseguir o NFT, para não acontecer o mesmo do que na última season que o supply superou as expectativas. E como o sal é um recurso novo e que pode ser vendido no market muitos devem ter o background como objetivo do capítulo.
