Lat season, it took me almost 9 days to reach from the Bronze 1 to Silver 3 league (that is just difference of 300 points only) and it was an indeed the frustrating journey. Luckily in this season, I am able to cover this journey in 2 days only and it was majorly due to the opening of 50 foundation packs that helped me upgrade my Archons and cards, notably the Alan Musketeer, which has double strike and it attacks increases from 1 to 2. Though an increase of just +1 attack is not a major thing, but due to double strike , it is an increase of 2 attack and in the lower leagues it actually matters and game changing.
This is one of the reasons that I am able to reach Silver 3 even before the midway point of the season. I continued to win some battle but later on I slipped from Silver 3 and I expect the competition to be tough to be in Silver league at starting days of the season and I guess , as strong player start moving up, then I will be able to cement my position in Silver 3 league.
Rewards that I got from the Silver league are not at all spectacular as it contain only 1 common card and it contain "entry" also that is not at all useful to me. Though Alchemy potion do not have much use for me now, but I am happy to stack them as they will be useful in pack opening at later stages.
Future Strategy.
Though my long-term strategy is to have the Conclave Arcana Archons atleast at level 5, so that I can keep upgrade myself to the Gold leagues, where the Glint rewards and SPS rewards will become much better for playing on these leagues. I already have purchased kaylia Silverleaf level 5 for this purpose, but my cards are not upto that mark that I can use Kaylia Silverleaf.
The cheapest way to upgrade is to use Glint and I have only enough Glint that can be used to either purchase 100 rare cards or 400 common cards. To make this decision, I have taken a look at my collection of cards.
So all my common cards are at level 4, and since I have one rare archon at level 4 in modern league, so it means they are maxed for the rest of the 4 Archons already. Further upgrading will benefit only 1 Archon.
But when I see at my rare collections, all are at level 2 only. With my 3 rare elemental Archons are above level 3, they are already below level for 3 Archons. 2 rare Archons that are currently at level 2, I am planning to upgrade them to at least level 3 in the coming days. So upgrading the rare cards to at least level 3 is the clear winning strategy for me. Let me do this upgrade and combine cards on this coming weekend, (that is before this season end.) , I might expect to reach Silver 2 this time and in may be able to close the season at Silver league.
Though for many seasons, I am reaching on Silver league and playing there but before the end of the season, I get pushed back to the Bronze league. This upgradation might help me to sustain in Silver league.
