Social Media Challenge - Total synergy!! [PT/EN]

É interessante observar que em Splinterlands muitas possibilidades de estratégias podem ser criadas em diferentes condições. As vezes você possui uma base de monstros dentro de um elemento que são essenciais para seu estilo de jogo, mas quando você modifica algumas peças para alinhar com a regra de batalha, traz uma dinâmica e proposta totalmente diferente para condições diferentes. A magia de Splinterlands está nessas possibilidades variadas.

Um fato interessante é que o elemento Life sempre foi para mim o mais fraco, durante muito tempo eu não conseguia fazer boas batalhas quando era necessário escolher esse elemento. Porém, depois que o summoner Grandmaster Rathe foi lançado, o elemento Life se tornou o meu favorito e é o que mais ganho batalhas. Obviamente, as condições da partida precisam ser favoráveis para que ele seja escolhido, principalmente a quantidade de mana precisa ser um pouco acima da média, mas quando estão favoráveis, sei que minhas chances de vitória são grandes!

A grande questão de cada elemento, é encontrar a sinergia entre os monstros, acredito que cada elemento possui sua característica e proposta e depois de alguns anos jogando, podemos notar isso de forma fácil. Exemplos rápidos sobre isso e um pouco generalista é que o elemento morte é bom para tirar status inimigos, enquanto o elemento água tem por característica a velocidade, o elemento fogo é mais focado em monstros de ataque melee e assim por diante. Claro, isso é bem generalista e existem outras possibilidades dentro desses elemento, mas é o que enxergo quando olho para eles e busco algo quando estou construindo uma estratégia para a batalha.

O elemento Life para mim, quando utilizado o summoner citado, é o melhor em termos de defesa e combos entre os monstros que estão ali. Ele não possui muitas opções ofensivas, mas a estratégia vai além apenas de atacar como se não houvesse amanhã. Existem combinações dentro desse elemento que eu gosto de explorar e que sempre me dão segurança contra vários tipos de regras, elementos e estratégias inimigas.

Bem, a batalha de hoje é um pouco sobre isso, segurança e sinergia. Me escondendo atrás de escudos e fazendo a manutenção dos monstros mais importantes enquanto pacientemente eu vou minando as forças inimigas e com monstros teoricamente mais frágeis. Nem tudo se trata de força bruta, mas também não posso descartar utiliza-las quando posso. Sem mais delongas, vamos para a batalha!

Alguns pontos a serem mencionados:

• As regras de batalha implicam diretamente em qualquer decisão que eu pudesse tomar para escalar meu time. Todos os monstros possuem a habilidade Opportunity, além de uma camada extra de proteção e quando levassem dano, teriam seu ataque melee e velocidade aumentados. 45 de mana para essa batalha, o que dá liberdade para ecolher monstros de custo mais alto e os elementos Life, Terra e água estão a disposição.

• Os summoners é o próximo tópico, onde meu oponente escolhe um do elemento terra que retira minha velocidade e dá a ele a possibilidade de usar um monstro da edição Gladius. Eu acho isso um escolha ruim, já que a regra Equal Opportunity amplia as opções de escolha. Do meu lado, escolho Grandmaster Rathe que aumenta minha proteção contra qualquer tipo de ataque e fará um bom combo com a regra que adiciona Holy Protection

• Para o tank, eu escolho um monstro que possui a habilidade Thorns e recebe menos danos físicos, além de contra-atacar em algumas ocasiões. Os espinhos são potencializados pelo Amplify que meu summoner adiciona e isso poderá dar danos extras ao atacante. Meu oponente faz uma boa escolha com seu tank e ele será um obstáculo a parte para que eu supere.

• A minha linha de trás possui sua própria sinergia. Enquanto Iziar atrai todos os ataques para si, Adelade restaura os escudos perdidos e quando Iziar for derrotado, ela poderá ressuscitá-lo para que ele aumente os status dos monstros adjacentes. Dr Blight é uma carta na manga, pois é invisível aos monstros atacantes e poderá atacar e envenenar os monstros mais fracos no campo adversário. Essa sinergia é muito boa entre esses três monstros, mas em outras oportunidades, eu gosto de adicionar um monstro que cura a linha de trás para fazer com que Iziar permaneça por mais tempo em campo, adicionando ainda mais proteção ao time.

• Outra dupla da linha de trás que deve ser mencionada. Jared Scar é um monstro muito potente ofensivamente e poderá perfurar escudos e aumentar seu status quando derrotar um monstro rival e ao seu lado, um Venari que potencializa o monstro que esteja por perto.

O decorrer da bataçha ocorreu da forma como eu imaginava. Iziar atraiu os ataques para si e consequentemente potencializou os monstros ao seu lado enquanto meu time derrotava os monstros rivais pouco a pouco.

Jared estava com 10 de ataque no final do quinto round e além disso, outros monstros foram beneficiados da habilidade Martyr. Um time que parecia ser frágil e de pouco ataque no começo, mudou os ares da partida após algumas ações estratégicas.

Por fim, não restou muito o que meu adversário pudesse fazer se não assistir seu último monstro ser derrotado.

A minha estratégia funcionou muito bem e isso mostra que ne sempre a força máxima é a melhor opção, a muito tempo ouvimos que inteligência supera a força e essa batalha foi um bom exemplo, mas claro, ter força também as vezes é inteligência.

It's interesting to note that in Splinterlands many strategy possibilities can be created in different conditions. Sometimes you have a base of monsters within an element that are essential to your playstyle, but when you modify some pieces to align with the battle rules, you bring a totally different dynamic and proposal to different conditions. The magic of Splinterlands lies in these varied possibilities.

An interesting fact is that the Life element has always been the weakest for me, for a long time I couldn't have good battles when it was necessary to choose this element. However, after the summoner Grandmaster Rathe was released, the Life element became my favorite and it's the one I win the most battles with. Obviously, the match conditions need to be favorable for it to be chosen, especially the amount of mana needs to be a little above average, but when they are favorable, I know that my chances of victory are high!

The big question for each element is finding synergy between the monsters. I believe that each element has its own characteristics and purpose, and after a few years of playing, we can easily notice this. Quick examples about this and a little generalized are that the death element is good for removing enemy status, while the water element is characterized by speed, the fire element is more focused on melee attack monsters, and so on. Of course, this is very generalized and there are other possibilities within these elements, but it is what I see when I look at them and look for something when I am building a strategy for the battle.

The Life element for me, when used with the aforementioned summoner, is the best in terms of defense and combos among the monsters that are there. It does not have many offensive options, but the strategy goes beyond just attacking like there is no tomorrow. There are combinations within this element that I like to explore and that always give me security against various types of enemy rules, elements and strategies.

Well, today's battle is a bit about that, security and synergy. Hiding behind shields and maintaining the most important monsters while I patiently undermine the enemy forces with theoretically weaker monsters. It's not all about brute force, but I also can't rule out using it when I can. Without further ado, let's go to battle!

Some points to mention:

• The battle rules directly affect any decision I could make to build my team. All monsters have the Opportunity ability, in addition to an extra layer of protection and when they take damage, their melee attack and speed will be increased. 45 mana for this battle, which gives freedom to choose higher cost monsters and the Life, Earth and Water elements are available.

• Summoners are the next topic, where my opponent chooses an earth element that takes away my speed and gives him the possibility of using a monster from the Gladius edition. I think this is a bad choice, since the Equal Opportunity rule expands the choice options. On my side, I choose Grandmaster Rathe which increases my protection against any type of attack and will make a good combo with the rule that adds Holy Protection

• For the tank, I choose a monster that has the Thorns ability and takes less physical damage, in addition to counterattacking on some occasions. The thorns are enhanced by the Amplify that my summoner adds and this can give extra damage to the attacker. My opponent makes a good choice with his tank and he will be a separate obstacle for me to overcome.

• My back row has its own synergy. While Iziar draws all attacks to itself, Adelade restores lost shields and when Iziar is defeated, she can resurrect him so that he can increase the stats of adjacent monsters. Dr Blight is an ace up my sleeve, as he is invisible to attacking monsters and can attack and poison weaker monsters on the opponent's field. This synergy rgy is very good among these three monsters, but on other occasions, I like to add a monster that heals the back line to make Iziar stay on the field longer, adding even more protection to the team.

• Another back line duo that should be mentioned. Jared Scar is a very powerful monster offensively and can pierce shields and increase his status when he defeats an opponent monster and next to him, a Venari that enhances the monster that is nearby.

The battle unfolded as I had imagined. Iziar drew the attacks to himself and consequently strengthened the monsters on his side while my team gradually defeated the rival monsters.

Jared had 10 attack at the end of the fifth round and, in addition, other monsters benefited from Martyr's ability. A team that seemed fragile and had little attack at the beginning changed the course of the match after some strategic actions.

Finally, there was not much left for my opponent to do other than watch his last monster be defeated.

My strategy worked very well and it shows that maximum strength is not always the best option. We have long heard that intelligence trumps strength and this battle was a good example, but of course, having strength is also sometimes intelligence.
