Hey @hivegaming community, we're in a new post where I share my experience playing Resident Evil 2 Remake for the first time, since I never played it at the time and I know it's been a few years and most of the people reading this post have either played it or seen another YouTuber playing it, but I'd still like to share this adventure with the community and I'll also leave you the video for you to enjoy. If you're not a Spanish speaker, you can read the post and enjoy this interesting experience as well.

I'm playing the game on the standard difficulty, and starting the game I was already impressed by the incredible graphics it has. I had already seen some short videos and such on YouTube, but... It's not the same seeing it as experiencing it, and without further ado, at the beginning of the game, a truck driver comes out eating a sandwich who, in a small distraction, collides with what is seen to be a woman and when this happens, the worried man gets out and the woman appears behind him as if coming back to life.

Then they show us our character and one of the protagonists, Claire. We arrived at a gas station that I had to go inside. Everything looked in bad condition and I found a policeman trying to stop a zombie who ends up eating it. After shooting him several times in the head, the place starts to fill with zombies and I had to escape

After a while, I'm bravely saved by Leon Kennedy, who drives us in his car and saves us from the zombies surrounding the gas station. While the characters get to know each other, we head to Raccoon City.

After a brief introduction, we arrive at Raccoon City, where everything looks desolate. We don't realize that the road is blocked. In the few seconds the zombies do not surround the car, the surprise came when the truck driver from the beginning with a bite impacts us and magically survives, thus causing an explanation that makes our protagonists separate and agree to meet at the police station.

Arriving at the police station and exploring a bit, we see a security video of another policeman, apparently whom we are supposedly going to rescue. We enter through a kind of door that when we enter it is all dark and the walls are bloody. After exploring the doors nearby a bit, a guard yells at us to help him and after trying to help, he ends up eating him, only recovering half of his body.

After that incident, we collected some kind of diary the policeman had, and walkers started appearing everywhere along the road. I took a few, but I wanted to save as many bullets as I could since eliminating them required several shots to the head. Trying to get out of the place, I was rescued by a policeman named Marvin, who looked seriously injured from a bite.

After a scene together to police officer Marvin and when we tell him that we're looking for our brother Chris, he reveals that he's been on vacation for weeks, and tells us that there's also a possible way out of there, giving me a car telling me that I'm going to need it more than him, since he's screwed

Discovering that I have to look for a kind of coins to open a door, and having already found one, I enter a dark and bloody hallway like the one I had already been in with the doubt of if it was the same one, and finding police officers destroyed by zombies, already in the game I was starting to get scared the truth, the hallway became increasingly darker and enemies appeared in the windows which let me interact with them and Seal them with some planks.

Gathering some ammo and reading some files, we continued exploring the area to see what I might find interesting. Moving through a window toward a new path, I eliminated a couple of enemies with my knife to save as many bullets as possible. Although I did have to shoot one, I was still a bit short on ammo.

By the end of the episode, I managed to open a safe thanks to a number, obtaining a fanny pack that gave me two more inventory slots. It was actually quite useful and necessary. From then on, all I did was read a couple of files while searching carefully to make sure I didn't leave anything in the room and in the surrounding area. This is how the first episode of Resident Evil 2 Remake concluded.
