Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Daily Grind and Frontier Chest Rewards

Greetings to all Splinterlands players! Today I will show some games in my daily grind to win fifteen games and earn the daily reward chests. I'm playing in Silver III and in that league I earn twelve chests including six raffle entries. The raffle prizes are good which includes the most prized black foil cards. The black foil cards are already at maximum level so these are desired by players. I try to collect all the chest rewards daily but sometimes I don't have energy left to win fifteen games so sometimes I only earn ten chests.

For this day, I got some good cards including the Water archon.

I will show my some games I won to earn these chests.

Earth vs Life

The advantage of Earth element is it has a healer tank. It's the only element that has a tank that can heal. Dread Tafarian is the first card we got from the campaign if you can remember. It's safe to say that the Earth element has the best tank in the Frontier Format. The tank is not its only advantage. Earth also has a couple of strong archer attackers that beginners can get from the campaign missions. In addition, I got a "unique" card, Glimmermancer that has two magic attacks. I say he is unique because he cannot be acquired from the campaign missions. You have to grind and get him from the reward chests.

In the game, the healing of Dread Tafarian is a big factor in my win. He was able to survive by healing himself while my backline was defeated by my opponent's Vengeful Monk and Sherringham Logger.

Fire vs Fire

Fire's advantage is speed. Attack and eliminate the opponent before he can counterattack. Fire has great melee units that attack the backline with sneak and opportunity skills. Include the neutral Vengeful Monk in the line up for effective combos with other melee fighters.

The game discouraged using magic units (Counterspell) so my opponent and I used the Fire element. I filled my team with an all melee units while my opponent mixed his team with a couple of archers. My team will focus their attacks in the opponent's backline with sneak and opportunity attacks while my opponent will attack my frontline with his archers. Normally, backline units have lower life so using a strategy of attacking them first works in your favor. After round one, my team already defeated two opponent units that gave me the advantage. Although the opponent's tank had higher life, I had more units that carry on the attacks.

Death vs Water

The Death element is usually a counter to the magic focused Water element. This is because the Death team's tank has a Void skill which decreases the opponent's magic attacks. If you see your opponent constantly using Water, then counter him by using Death and include a unit that attacks the backline to target his magic attackers. This is a good strategy against Water since magic attacks will focus on your frontline while your tank has an anti magic skill.

My tank defended against attacks while my Kanaaq Miner attacked the opponent's rear. It also helped that my opponent's life was decreased by two. The Death archon decreases the opponent's life and I had another unit, Sorrow Harvester that does the same thing. This makes the Death element an effective team in Noxious fumes where survival is the first focus.

After earning my fifteen chests, I stopped playing to recover my energy for tomorrow's grind.
