Weekend Power-Up: Staking 91k COLONY, Now at 152k

I hope that life is treating you well wherever you are in this part of the world.

It's weekend and generally the weekend went for us to utilise this time for us that we can spend with family and friends and do whatever we like to do apart from work environment. This weekend I had a plan for some travel but I could not do it because of some unexpected circumstances so I thought of resting at home and next weekend I will be doing the same. It's good that I did not make any travel booking else there must be some charges on the booking which could have been a cost for me but I am glad that I did not do it. Now things are sorted so I should be able to travel next week and this travel plan is due from last few months for me. This year has been a busy year for me since the beginning and I did not get time to travel but I get time on weekends now.

The crypto market is not doing really great these days because we see how things are moving here and there and Bitcoin is still in sort of range. The current price is moving around 85,000 US dollars and some people say that this bull run is still far away or maybe we can see it in the year end. While the prices are down so in this game also the value of token is down which brings buying opportunity. I am doing it and I just started it because I believe that this game is for the long term and players like me will be taking a lot of time to have some good balance of different digital assets. For example if I talk about the colony token which is available coin of the game then I am on it but to have a decent holding for this coin will require some time for me.

It's like Rome was not built in a day and the same I'm trying to do here on this game which is called Moonkart. This game is part of the splinterlands ecosystem and I am part of Splinterlands already so I am buying certain assets in that game as well. In a way I can say that I am growing my overall holding in both the games and both the gaming projects are part of the same ecosystem so a few things are common here.

I had some problem with the transfer for over 91,000 colony tokens and that is resolved now so I have got the balance available in my game account. Now it is time for me to take those tokens because I don't want to keep it idle rather I will stake it and will plan to buy more and stake it again. We do a cycle that I am following when I buy tokens move it to the game account and power it up. Once it is done then I try to buy again whenever it is possible for me and then do the same which is like a repeated cycle for me in this game and I am happy to do this.

Now with this power up I will be able to have more than 150K tokens available in my game account and it is like 15% target is achieved of the goal which is one million COLONY. The only reason I have as of now to build this holding of colony token because I believe that the market is down this time and sooner or later it will improve but before that happens I don't want to miss this opportunity of the token holding. I always believe that when market is not doing good then it is good time to buy and wait for the right opportunity. I follow the same principles when I invest in stocks and it is the market that I have been investing since over a decade. There are still many stocks I have in my portfolio that I bought more than 10 years back and they have given a good value appreciation but I have those for long. Same thought I have here with the colony because I see this project is growing and with growth I can anticipate some good profitability in future.

The balance is updated and there is no liquid colony token available in account so the updated balance I have now is 152K colony token balance. It is not a small amount specially for me because I have started with very little amount but now I am growing it and will continue to do this till the time I do not make it one million. I cannot comment about it for now because I believe even after that I will be able to grow it even more. But for now it is good for me I have whatever I can and I will stay consistent with my focus and goal that I have follow it open in this MoonKart game.

I also share the price chart so that you can see how the market is doing for colony token. The price is on downtrend and it's 0.00075 as of now. I see there is price variation between the boy and silver so if I go with the sell orders then for 1 million tokens we need to spend about 1100 hive and if we go by the buy price then it should be around 800 HIVE.

I will continue to track this because I will need to buy another bunch soon and the buyer its always good to buy at the lower price which is like a buying discount and if I get it I am very happy to have it.
