COLONY Token: Buying and Staking During a Market Downturn

In any game, having more gaming assets brings more fun to the game. These assets can be tokens or other digital NFT cards, and similarly in moon cards also we have these types of digital assets. It has got a few tokens with different use cases and so many cards with different abilities. All the cards are NFT cards that are basically built to be used on the game platform.

Its a car is a game where different NFT brings different functionalities and some ability benefits so before buying those cars you need to go through that aspect. Nfts are going to be in my shopping cart later, but for now, I'm trying to have more tokens. Earlier, I purchased thirty-five thousand tokens, and I used all the tokens in the game account. This additional function is called staking, which I have already done, and today is another purchase done by me.

So I have purchased more than 25,000 tokens today from the marketplace, which is the internal market, but I used the keychain application to get the purchase done. I'm sharing the steps I followed to perform the purchase transaction, and it is very easy. If you are using the kitchen, then trust me that the transaction is not going to take much of your time, and you will be able to see the balance in a matter of a few minutes.

You can also see the historical transaction in the keychain application, which you can see in the below snapshot. Currently, the price of colony tokens is low, and this is why I am trying my best to buy as much as possible.

The transaction was successful, and I could see the balance available in my wallet in the hive engine.

I also tried to move the tokens in my game account, but I dont know what the issue is with the game system because my transaction did not complete successfully. Its fine because such things might happen sometimes, and for that reason, I have already submitted my request to the support.

I wanted to stake all the tokens, but it seems it will take some time since I have already raised my ticket, and I am sure it should be resolved soon. So I will need to wait for some more time till the time this is not resolved and the balance is reflected in my game account.

COLONY Price Dip in Market

I want to show you that there is some price depth on the colony token price in the market. These days, the market is down, and I think a similar effect is also reachable on the colony token price. The hive price is also down this time. The price chart is for three months that I have taken from the internal marketplace, and you can see the price going down. I don't know what the price will be because it is very difficult to predict the market, especially in the current situation when most things are down because of the ongoing tariff crisis.

I believe that the token I am trying to have and accumulate will be helpful for me to empower my game experience later. Buying any coin or token at a discounted price is the best idea, I believe, especially if you believe in the project that it is going, so the strategy is really good. This strategy is like just buy and hold and accumulate a good balance. This token offers a lot of utility in the game, according to the white paper, so wait for the right time, and you will see all those functionalities available in the game.

This game is also a big one because there is a lot that needs to be explored. It has so many NFT cards. But I find this game similar to the splinterlands game; however, the gaming model is different. That game is a card battle game, but this one is a car racing game based on different nft cards that are used for the driver, kart, etc.

Its ecosystem, where both the games are available, has some 2 other games that are also available, which I'm not aware of. Currently, all I am trying to do is have different assets in this splinterlands game and more tokens in Moon Kart. I'll try to diversify my portfolio that will have tokens and some useful cards which are going to be making my game play better. I am reading some of the articles about the game, which is helping me improve my understanding. Some players are literally doing great work, and they are sharing useful content, which is helping the new people like me.
