Hello Splinter Fanatics!

Splinterlands is a fascinating card game, full of monsters, abilities, and variable rules that ensure no two matches are alike. A true player never chooses their cards at random; each battle requires strategic planning, seeking synergy between the monsters and the chosen archon.

With the arrival of the Conclave Arcana collection, new metagames have emerged. The possibility of combining different cards is what makes Splinterlands so fun and exciting. The multi-element Rebellion Archons play this role with excellence. So far, I consider them the best Archons in the Modern format, as I have tried some Conclave Archons, but I still prefer the Rebellions.

Another factor that makes the multi-element Rebellion Archons the best, especially the common ones, is that they are the best choices when we have battles with very low mana. In battles of this type or in battles where we have the Little League Ruleset, choosing these Archons can guarantee us victory. In this type of battle, it is necessary to manage the monsters strategically. Scale the largest number of monsters with the best possible quality.

Currently, there are five multi-element Archons of common rarity. Each Splinter is represented twice among them, distributed evenly, which contributes significantly to competitive balance. Because they are low-cost Archons, costing only 3 mana, and focused on versatility, they have no additional abilities, which helps keep the game balanced.

Whenever possible, I’ve been using these new multi-element Archons. Naturally, they have the advantage of accessing a wider set of cards compared to conventional Archons, which significantly increases the chances of victory.

Initially, the battle featured the rulesets Lost Magic, Close Range, and Aim True. In this type of matchup, the player is encouraged to prioritize monsters with melee or ranged damage. Additionally, it’s advisable to choose creatures with high speed or the Ambush ability—after all, whoever strikes first usually wins

In the first round, it was possible to see the lineup of both players. My opponent chose the Earth Splinter with the Archon Tofu, which alone costs 7 mana. With that choice, he was only able to deploy three monsters. On the other hand, I opted for the Water and Death Archon, which allowed me to field five monsters—all powerful, considering the available mana.

Due to the rulesets, I deployed only melee and ranged damage monsters, since magic monsters were not allowed. Among the chosen monsters, I highlighted three of my favorites: Halfling Refugee, Mar Toren Trader, and Broken Earth Thug—all from the Reward Rebellion Soulbound collection.

In addition to them, I deployed a Rebellion monster with the Thorns ability and ranged damage, so that when it reaches the first position, it can damage enemy melee monsters with thorns alone, and also a Conclave Arcana monster. But all of this was only possible thanks to my multi-element Archon (Water and Death).

My opponent’s strategy was entirely focused on his Archon, which adds Thorns to all of his monsters and also increases their health by (+2). However, his strategy was ineffective due to poor mana management.

In low-mana battles, the key is often to deploy as many monsters as possible on the field—but the quality factor must also be taken into account. With this strategy, my opponent wasn’t able to defeat a single one of my units. It was an epic battle, where our strategy proved to be superior.

Splinterlands é um jogo de cartas fascinante, repleto de monstros, habilidades e regras variáveis que garantem que nenhuma partida seja igual à anterior. Um verdadeiro jogador nunca escolhe suas cartas aleatoriamente; cada batalha exige planejamento estratégico, buscando sinergia entre os monstros e o archon escolhido.

Com a chegada da coleção Conclave Arcana, novos metagames surgiram. A possibilidade de combinar diversas cartas é o que torna Splinterlands tão divertido e empolgante. Os Archons Rebellion, de múltiplos elementos, desempenham esse papel com excelência. Até o momento, considero-os os melhores Archons do formato Modern, pois já experimentei alguns Archons Conclave, mas, ainda assim, continuo preferindo os Rebellions.

Outro fator que torna os Archon Rebellion de multiplos elementos os melhores, principalmente os comuns, é que eles são as melhores escolhas quando temos batalhas com baixissima mana. Em batalhas desse tipo ou nas batalhas onde temos o Ruleset Little League escolher esses Archons pode nos garantir a vitória. É necessário nesse tipo de batalha gerenciar os monstros de forma estratégica. Escalar a maior quantidade de monstros com a melhor qualidade possível.

Atualmente, existem cinco Archons multi-elemento de raridade comum. Cada Splinter está representado duas vezes entre eles, distribuídos de maneira uniforme, o que contribui significativamente para o equilíbrio competitivo. Por serem Archons de baixo custo, custando apenas 3 de mana, e focados na versatilidade, eles não possuem habilidades adicionais, o que ajuda a manter o jogo balanceado.

Sempre que possível, tenho utilizado esses novos Archons multi-elemento. Naturalmente, eles possuem a vantagem de acessar um conjunto maior de cartas em comparação aos Archons convencionais, o que aumenta significativamente as chances de vitória.

Inicialmente, a batalha contou com os rulesets Lost Magic, Close Range e Aim True. Nesse tipo de confronto, o jogador é induzido a priorizar monstros com dano melee ou ranged. Além disso, é recomendável escolher criaturas com alta velocidade ou com a habilidade Ambush, afinal quem ataca primeiro ganha.

Na primeira rodada, foi possível observar a escalação de ambos os jogadores. Meu oponente escolheu o Splinter Terra, com o Archon Tofu, que, sozinho, consome 7 de mana. Com essa escolha, ele conseguiu escalar apenas três monstros. Por outro lado, eu optei pelo Archon de Água e Morte, o que me permitiu escalar cinco monstros, todos poderosos, considerando a quantidade de mana disponível.

Devido aos rulesets, escalei apenas monstros com dano melee e ranged, pois monstro mágico não eram permitidos. Entre os monstros escolhidos, destaquei três dos meus favoritos: Halfling Refugee, Mar Toren Trader e Broken Earth Thug, todos pertencentes à coleção Reward Rebellion Soulbound.

Além deles, escalei um monstro Rebellion que possui a habilidade Throns e de dano Ranged, para que quando for para a primeira posição possa danificar os monstros melee adversarios apenas com os espinhos e um monstro Conclave Arcana. Mas, tudo isso só foi possível devido ao meu Archon multi-elemento (água e morte).

A estratégia do meu oponente estava totalmente centrada em seu Archon, que adciona Thorns a todos os seus monstros além de aumentar em (+2) a saúde dos monstros. No entanto, sua estratégia não foi efetiva devido ao mal gerenciamento de mana.

Em uma batalha de pouca mana, na maioria das vezes o segredo é escalar a máximo possível de monstros no campo, mas o fator qualidade deve ser levado em consideração também. Com essa estratégia o Oponente não conseguiu derrotar nenhuma das minhas unidades. Essa foi uma batalha épica, onde nossa estratégia se monstrou superior.
