The Night I Missed My Old Self

As the new year passed, there were memories that I've experience before when I was a kid and reminds me of my things while the new year comes.

Well, as I told my brother before the new year, I was sleeping soundly in my bedroom and I had an alarm beside me at eleven in the evening because I want to witness the countdown of the New Year.

But my body wouldn't let me even if my alarm went off and didn't wake up but thankfully, my brother just went inside my bedroom and my brother tried to woke me up and he was successful on waking me up because he had been told from our mother to wake me up.

After my brother woke me up, we went into the the living room to take photos together and I think it was less than an hour before the New Year.

We talked several topics with my family and my siblings and told him that it hits different when you will get in your 30's because as for me, I was busy preparing stuffs at the 31st going here and there and that's why I was very tired and wants to sleep at that moment.

While before, even if I was busy, I will try to keep myself wake up before the New Year but now, it seems different that even if I tried to wake up from my alarm, I couldn't do it.

I don't know if it's only me but after I turn into 30's, my lifestyle is now different like before, I can stay up late until morning but now, I am now as sleepy before ten o'clock in the evening.

The activeness when I was still a kid has now gone and only a few remains because my mind tells me that it's not worth it anymore.

How I missed my old self which was when I was a child because I want to play, dance, sing, and etc. even if i don't know how to dance but trying my best to dance in that New Year.
