We have been here since long
We will keep on shining for a long time
Like the fragrance that emerges from the first rain
Our presence is there
We remember very well

The stubbornness of playing with the moon as a toy
The attempt to swallow the blazing sun
Some houses, some ornaments, some roads
Whatever is left, visible and invisible
Whatever could not be saved, wanted or unwanted

All our doing is ours
Despite many failures
We have been churning inside and outside for years over some small failure
Whenever we kept getting destroyed
We have always been saved

Sometimes as birds,
sometimes as grass,
sometimes as dew
We come very close
Let the night, sleep, dreams be guarded in this way
Only good wishes for the world
Our lips keep murmuring
Waiting every moment,
We are our own admirers
