Hey there, fellow Splinterlands grinders—lately it feels like Praetoria just refuses to sleep. We barely caught our breath from Survival Mode, Eggstravaganza, and all that SPS burn business… and boom—another name drops and suddenly Discord, Hive, and guild chat are on fire again.
That name?
MEREDROOL.

And honestly, the first time I saw this Archon, one simple thought hit me:
“Yeah… this card is going to make a LOT of people miscalculate.”
MEREDROOL is the first Archon from the Escalation Conflict, and trust me—this isn’t just some shiny collectible to flex in your deck. This feels like a card designed to change how we build teams entirely.
At first glance, the stats look harmless:

But that’s exactly where the danger lies.
The Bloodline Dominion ability lets you summon Divine Construct units from ANY element. Yeah… read that again.
We’re usually locked into element restrictions. Now? That line is starting to blur.
It honestly feels like the devs just said:
“Go ahead… break the game a little.”
Another thing that caught my attention is the reward system.
Every 100,000 Conflict points gives you 1 airdrop entry. The odds are tiny—around 0.00307692%—but there’s a guaranteed drop after 325 entries.
And of course, the community instantly turned into part-time mathematicians.
You’ve got people calculating odds, wagon efficiency, leaderboard pushes, ROI… it’s chaos—in a good way.
Personally? I’m more interested in the Foil Draw Events.
After Conflict ends, you get four different buckets:
And the best part? You can choose how to distribute your chances.
This is where Splinterlands brings in that signature feeling:
“Elegant gambling with strategy baked in.”
Now this part? I really like.
Enter: Lustrous Potion.
You can craft it on Land using 100 Aura, and it boosts your entries in the Gold Foil Arcane and Black Foil Arcane draw buckets.
Which means… Land is no longer just that “buy it and forget it” feature.
It finally feels important.

Everything is starting to connect:
Land, Conflict, Potions, Foil draws, Wagons, Archons
It’s no longer a bunch of separate systems—it’s an actual ecosystem.
And honestly, I’m all for it.
MEREDROOL makes team building feel way more creative.
…but also way more dangerous.
Because now, you’re not just thinking:
“How do I beat my opponent?”
You’re also asking:
“Can my own team survive Reckless?”
And that’s a GOOD thing for the meta. It forces deeper thinking.
For newer players, yeah—it might look complicated. But here’s the lesson:
The best card isn’t always the strongest—
it’s the one you understand how to use.
MEREDROOL is one of those cards that people will love and hate at the same time.
And usually… those are the cards that stick in the meta long-term.
If you decide to try MEREDROOL, don’t just throw your strongest monsters into one lineup.
Think about positioning.
Respect the Reckless effect.
And most importantly—don’t get too greedy chasing damage.
Because in Splinterlands…
sometimes the real enemy isn’t your opponent—
…it’s your own overconfident strategy.
