Help always comes, one way or another, Veronica.

Playing, playing and playing. That sums up Veronica's life. She is a violinist who has been in music all her life. She really doesn't remember a single day where she hasn't played at least once. Always before going to bed or early in the morning she would play her violin a little. Obviously, with all this practice she has gained a lot of talent and she masters the instrument without any problems. There is no song too difficult for her, you just tell her the name and she plays it. Throughout these last few years she has worked with multiple artists, bands and orchestras. In all of them she has been very well regarded for always standing out as a guest star. The truth is that she has won the affection of everyone and her fans.

I don't think it's necessary to beat around the bush to say that the violin was the center of everything in her life and thanks to it she had achieved everything she had. But you know, she has a secret up her sleeve. More than playing it, what she likes most about it is hearing how it sounds. Yes, it's a curious thing that she prefers to listen to it. All her passion for the instrument is because of this, to listen to it. That's why her career was sadly affected by something that happened later. You see, everything happened very quickly, she hardly had much time to assimilate it, it was like a bucket of cold water. Well, several buckets of cold water because it was step by step. Let me explain, it all started at a concert. She was there playing normally as she always did, but this time something different happened, she couldn't hear the sound of the violin perfectly.

At that moment, what she thought was that since there was so much noise from the crowd, maybe that's why she couldn't hear the instrument well. She also thought that the hearing aid that gave her production might be damaged or something. At that time she didn't pay much attention to it because the truth is it wasn't that big of a deal. But this is where the buckets of cold water come in. As the months went by she noticed that at each concert she heard less and less of the violin sound. It was super strange, she realized that the problem wasn't the noise of the people or the hearing aid, it was actually herself. At that moment she didn't know how to act or proceed so she made the decision to go to the doctor to see what was going on.

The doctors treated her very well and quickly found the cause of the problem, but they didn't know how to tell her. This was the biggest cold shower of all. They told her that she actually had a hearing disease. That alone would scare you, but this was only the beginning of the problem. They explained to her that this hearing disease was very aggressive and would end up destroying her hearing completely. It was really terrible. The doctors told her that fortunately there was a solution and that not everything was lost. But here comes the next cold shower. They gave her good and bad news at the same time. They explained to her that the treatment for her disease did exist and that in fact it was proven to work almost 100%.

But this treatment was not done in the country and that it was only done in a foreign country, so she would have to travel and pay a lot of money for the operation. Veronica felt completely devastated; she hadn't had time to assimilate all of that. The doctors also told her that if she was going to have the treatment she would have to do it soon before she lost her hearing completely because after that it would be irreversible. This was only the beginning of the whole problem because now several more would form, it is as if problems called for more problems.

One thing to keep in mind, although she was a good violinist, she didn't have enough money to travel to the country in question where they were doing the operation, much less pay for it. So now she was at a point where she didn't know what to do, her life insurance didn't cover an operation in another country so she couldn't count on them. The truth is that she didn't know what to do and remember that this is a race against time. Well, in the end she saw that there was only one possible option, earning the money to do it. That's why she started doing violin concerts in various parts of the city and in some states. Many people went to see her and she was raising funds. The problem here was that what she earned wasn't enough and she didn't earn it quickly either.

But sometimes help comes when you think you're most alone. It turns out that a friend of hers and fellow violinist found out about her situation and saw how hard she was trying to get the money to be cured. He knew that she would lose her hearing if they didn't do something quickly. So she contacted her other colleagues to collect money together and help her. They loved her very much for what a good person she was and they wanted some way to show their gratitude, so they chose this way. Well, in a few days they had already raised enough funds so they were ready to tell Veronica the news.

When they told her what they had done for her, she couldn't hold back her tears. She couldn't believe that they would pay everything out of their savings. It was a great gesture of friendship. Veronica didn't know how to pay for it, but they told her that she deserved that and much more. So, Veronica, a little embarrassed, took the money, traveled to the country and had surgery. Now she is at home recovering with all her friends by her side. I'm sure that very soon she will return to the stage as the star that she is.
