A Little Act Of Service Breeds Positivity

I can’t say how much influence this Dreemport weekly challenge has on me. From participating in the various challenges I have been able to learn new things, now and then I tend to anticipate @dreemsteem's next move. She makes Dreemport challenges fun and educating at the same time.

For some weeks now I have been talking about my dreem space and my dreem teem and for this week I will continue with this topic as we were given the task of carrying out an act of service on our various dreem teem members. I have been so busy this week and it’s been exhausting as I had to strike a balance between work, my health, and Hive but I think I was able to scale through

If there is something that I am not good at, it is making phone calls and checking on other people as I fail woefully at that but I think I have been trying so well these past few days. If there is one person I am grateful for who influences me into checking on people is My Dad, I don’t know how he does it but he makes me feel great throughout the day with those nice messages he sends every morning.

When I picked my Dreem teammates, I made sure I picked people that weren’t only talented but people that are understanding. I wasn’t able to do much but I tried to do something little by asking about their day and having a short conversation with them. I was able to send a message to @wongi even if I know I have been busy but at least I was able to know how she is doing and how well she has been coping. Nothing big but I guess it’s the little I could do.

I don’t talk to @kingsleyy every day but the few times I spoke to him this week. I was able to help out in the little way that I could, it’s amazing how Kingsley has taught me so many things, he could be sleeping and then I would call him to come online, and with the snap of a finger, Kingsley would be online asking me if he could help in any way. He helps me so effortlessly, I was able to render a tiny help to him as well and he will never stop saying thank you. Someone should please tell Kingsley to stop thanking me😁

Putting my best friend as one of my Dreem teammates is the best thing ever, when Dreemsteem asked us to pick a teammate, I knew I needed someone that I could trust and talk to freely, in my last post I said a lot about @ibbtammy as she’s always checking on me and asking me if I was achieving my goals slowly and trying to help out in her little way.
This week, I dedicated most of my time to trying to give her a listening ear and ask her about work, life, and everything in general. It made me feel great and I felt better on the days I was able to motivate her and tell her she got this.

No matter how busy I was this week, I feel really good that I was able to check up on these people, drop nice compliments, and help in the little way I could. It is little but I am sure little by little I will be able to go far and beyond to be of service to them in ways that I can.
