Epic Fishing in Fortnite

We play Fortnite for Fun but also have become Competitive and each week play Solos, Duos, Trios, Squads, and now Quints together. I have been thinking, about how much I enjoy fishing in game. So Plegger [@photonium] and I have been talking about doing a Fishing show. Here I am scouting our Fishing spots, strategically so we can get the most Fish. This is Epic Fishing Battle Royale!

In Fortnite you can Fish by either using a Fishing Rod found in Barrels by the water, or use explosives to blast the fishing holes all at once. Once they had more detailed classes of Fish, but whether you cast your line into open water or fishing holes, you never know what you might pull out. Minnows, Tin Cans, Orange Fish, Shield Fish, Common Weapons and even sometimes Uncommon.

The best locations to fish early in the game are on the coastline, just follow it around, staying close to the inside of the circle. Plan your route so that as the storm closes, you can fish towards the final circle. Follow the River and hang out at Ponds and Lakes, wherever you see them.

Catch as many fish as possible.

Bumpy Bay

This San Francisco like coastal city is a great place to land and Fish at the start of the game.

We have just 9 minutes 44 seconds until it is in the storm, in this replay. All matches vary.

ROUND 1: Early Game, Fish for 8 minutes then move.

North-West Zone: TipTop Terrace valley

How many fish can we catch in this area? If the storm moves North, Fish here.

North Zone: Clawsy Lodge

There are lots of fishing spots here, if you can avoid the action.

North-East Zone: The Grand River

How many Fish can we get from this stretch of water here?

South-East Zone:

This definiely Resembles the Horseshoe Bend in California,

Beside Battlewood Studios there is a river and a bridge, we can Fish here.

South-West Zone

North of Battlewood but south of Humble Hills is our last Fishing Zone

I even made a spreadsheet so @plegger and I can keep track of our Fish scores.
