Good morning, fellow warriors!
This is @zusi78. A new season has just begun, and I’d love to share five (5) recent epic battles in modern ranked with you.
For the past five seasons, after every season reset I have always started in Gold I. I have been able to hold that position for at least two months running in Modern ranked battles — without gold foil cards and without fully maxed cards. I haven’t relied on raw power. I have stayed competitive by truly understanding the game.
I am not trying to downplay those with powerful cards. I am simply sharing how I have been able to maneuver and stay competitive in the absence of gold foils and fully maxed cards for the now.
The Splinterlands community has always rewarded strategy over pure card strength more often than not. These battles highlight the raw prowess of Nephket and how she has carried so many of my wins. You don’t need fully maxed cards to compete at the top. I am a living proof.
Strategy, tactics, and synergy still matter. I’ll keep proving it before I finally acquire formidable, powerful and fully maxed cards.
Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building.Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥
Before the start of every season, these three cards are always the first I rent before any other card. Majority of my victories in modern ranked battles is as a result of them. And they are; Cryptic, Nephket and Captain Fellblade
Let me state how strategy,Tactics & Synergy has kept me this far at the top in modern ranked battles most especially with my little knowledge and I stand to be corrected.
Strategy first
Tactics second.
Synergy last
THE BATTLES: Please I would love you to watch the battle replay. And always watch out for NEPHKET

You have seen it, warriors!Pure Strategy,Tactics and Synergy. What do I do? If I am using the summoner Nidhoggr, I go for the execute option, which grants three monsters the execute ability. Or, if I am using the summoner Cryptic, I go for the poison option, which grants two monsters the poison ability. And the win rate is so high. I do lose at times, but I have more wins than losses.
