Hello fellow Splinterlands players it's once again @zoe01 and I got to use a huge amount of mana for my team, so I decided to bring some powerful monsters into the battlefield.
For this battle I had a high mana cap, which meant I had many options when it came to building my team. Also, the battle didn't have any special rules to make the gameplay different.

Mode: Modern Ranked - Bracket I
Mana Cap: 89
Modifier: Standard
Available Elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death, Dragon
With the high mana cap, I wanted to make a lineup that would get enough power onto the battlefield while also allowing my monsters to survive the battle. Since all elements were allowed, I had to be prepared for whatever the opponent would come up with.
I picked Aurelia again and with a high mana cap I was able to use a variety of monsters to make a strong team.
My Team

Summoner: Aurelia (+1 Health)
1st position: Dread Tafarian (Melee attack)
2nd position: Mad Gearhead (Melee attack)
3rd position: Time Bandit (Magic attack)
4th position: Great Bear Druid (Magic attack + Melee attack)
5th position: Stonebind Matron (Magic attack)
6th position: Giam Root (Ranged attack)
I started with Dread Tafarian in the first position, because I wanted him to take the front attacks from the opponent. His Heal ability made for a great aspect in this position as he recovers some Health and can continue to fight instead of being knocked down easily.
Behind him I placed Mad Gearhead, as I like to have a monster with Reach in the second position. He can still deal his attacks to the enemy's front line without having to be in the first position and take all the attacks himself.
Next I bring in Time Bandit, another great monster for this battle. His magic attack will give good amount of damage and his Cleanse ability can also be a helpful.
For the fourth position I added Great Bear Druid to bring in another monster for my formation. With a high mana cap like this, I wanted to make sure I could use my available resources to bring in more support and combat power into the battle.
Then I added Stonebind Matron into the fifth position, as I wanted to have another monster in my lineup to aid my battle and complete the formation.
Finally, I finish off the sixth position with Giam Root. One reason I like using this monster is his Strengthen ability, which raises the max Health of all friendly monsters. This is great for use with Aurelia as my team can benefit from extra Health and be harder to get knocked down.

My opponent for this match was KAERYN and they had some interesting monsters in their lineup as well. Looking at the two battlefields before the battle began, I knew this would be a great test for my Earth team.
The battle began as both teams were more than ready to attack and I was mostly interested in how my frontline would handle their opponent. Dread Tafarian was there to handle the incoming attacks, while Mad Gearhead could back up in the second position.

As the rounds went on, the battle became even more intriguing as my team had a variety of monsters fighting.
Time Bandit was using magic attacks, while other monsters were giving good support. Then Giam Root was there to provide extra Health through the Strengthen ability.
During round 5 the fight had began to change like some of the opponent's monsters got knocked out.

I loved how the combination of this lineup came about, as I didn't rely solely on one monster to carry the whole battle.

Though the opponent's team put up a great fight, my lineup was able to push through. Looking at the victory screen I was quite happy that my team selection had worked out, hehe.

What do you usually focus on when building a team for a high mana battle? Do you prefer using powerful attackers or building a team with variety to work together? Let me know in the comments.
