Hello people of Splinterlands community! I am back again to share another exciting battle! I am slowly learning to climb through the leagues. I have played plenty of matches so far and each match teaches me something new, and today's battle was another high-mana showdown that allowed for some heavy hitters.

Before I started my match, I tried my luck with the daily rewards and guess what? I have got Lux's Favor, I managed to land a +1 Free Spin! along with +500 Sparks in one turn, and another +200 Sparks on a subsequent spin. I have not used any of the sparks yet, because I am saving it up so it was a massive bonus for me to get an extra.

Battle Setup

As you can see it's another high-mana match, it's 48 Mana Cap. Just like my previous match this one also has no specific ruleset, no special modifiers or restriction on the elements. I have the opportunity to use all of the available elements, that means I have total tactical freedom and that goes the same for my opponent.

My Lineup

I selected my 6-mana summoner Aurelia and built a diverse team maximizing the 48 mana limit.

Summoner: Aurelia (+1 Health)

2. Mad Gearhead (Lv. 1) – melee
3. Great Bear Druid (Lv. 1) – melee + magic

Battle Progress

At first, in round one my frontline Spellmonger was there to create the initial pressure and rest of my team was supposed to get settled into the position. Mad Gearhead and Great Bear Druid are good at dealing with damages that's why I had chosen them, I have lost few matches before so I was confused where should I keep Wilhelmdale Deputy but in this match I have kept him in the backline so that he can provide valuable ranged support. To be honest, I thought I would lose this match as well because they had several dangerous attackers, so it was clear that this would not be an easy battle.

Even though I have bare minimum knowledge about the monsters but I could easily that my opponent brought a strong team, but luckily my frontline had defensive placement kept my heavy hitters protected. No sooner had the match started I noticed my high-mana team proved that they were not easy to break down. Just because the damage output remained consistent it was easy to gradually chip away at their formation and secure a clean. In the end, I have got a convincing victory.

Rewards and Progress

This victory was incredibly satisfying because after winning, I have earned +20 rating points, and my total rating got up to 280 in Bronze III.

I have played so many matches that my daily missions were completed and which made things even better, I have claimed my rewards two times. My pulls included some awesome new additions to my collection:

• Grand Consul Minion (Saurian)
• A Rare Frostguard Warrior (Gnome)

To be honest, I am enjoying my experience with this game, it's added to my daily routine. I have never felt so invested in other games but Splitnerlands is something else. I think I am understanding it slowly, these high-mana battles are truly exciting! let's see how far this lineup takes me. See you all in the next update.
