Hello Splinterlands fans! Its me again @zoe01 and I have another Modern ranked battle to share with you. This time I used my Earth team again against a player called THALDRIS. Since I had won my last battle with this team, I opted to play the same monsters again. I did not want to change anything as my team were playing very well. However, I obviously don't guarantee to win every time hehe. Let's look at how I played:

I had a mana cap of 56. I had the Standard Modifier, meaning no special rules applied. I had no 2nd/3rd modifiers. I had access to all 6 elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death and Dragon). I had a good mana cap meaning I was able to play all my monsters. I decided to go with my Earth team again.
I decided to play a summoner of Aurelia which gives me +1 Health to my monsters. I then chose 6 monsters.
My Team:

Summoner: Aurelia (+1 Health)
1st Position: Dread Tafarian (Melee attack)
2nd Position: Mad Gearhead (Melee attack)
3rd Position: Time Bandit (Magic attack)
4th Position: Stonebind Matron (Magic attack)
5th Position: Kicking Roc (Ranged attack)
6th Position: Giam Root (Ranged attack)
I used Dread Tafarian in position 1 again so it could take damage from my opponents attacks. Mad Gearhead was in position 2. I used Time Bandit and Stonebind Matron in positions 3 and 4 as I like having magic attackers. I used Kicking Roc in position 5 and Giam Root was my final monster.
I did not change anything from my last battle. I was actually curious to see if I could win with the same team again against a new opponent. I knew they would have all different monsters so I wasn't expecting an easy battle. However, I hoped that my team would survive hehe.

My opponent was called THALDRIS and they had a completely different team! They had a completely different summoner. Their first monster had 12 Health and 5 Armor. This made me a bit nervous as I knew it would take me a while to kill.
The battle began and we both attacked each other. Their front monster was taking damage and wasn't surviving. My monsters were attacking their other monsters. I was happy I was damaging their monsters.
However, some of my opponents monsters started to die. Their remaining monsters were still attacking my team. I wasn't sure how long my monsters would survive as it was taking longer than my last battle.

After round 4 my opponent had 3 monsters left. Their front monster only had 2 Health left and their other two had 6 and 5 Health. I was happy as all 6 of my monsters were still alive. Although some had taken damage, they were fighting!

I was expecting the battle to finish soon but it carried on for a few more rounds. After round 6 my opponent only had one monster left. It was the little mouse looking monster and it had 4 Health. All my monsters were still alive and I was pretty confident I was going to win hehe.
Eventually my monsters defeated their final monster and I had won in 6 rounds! 😂
I was surprised I didn't lose any of my monsters after 6 rounds. Even though they had some strong monsters they didn't win.

I earned 82 Glint and 40 rating points in division 9. My rating increased to 380. I was happy to have another win with my Earth team. I guess I will continue using these monsters as they are working well for me hehe. However, eventually I will have to change them depending on who my opponent is.

Have you ever used the same team for multiple battles and won? Do you like to change your monsters every battle or keep them the same if they work? Let me know in the comments!
