My Biggest Splinterlands Milestone So Far | A New League, Bigger Challenges, Better Rewards

Hello players of Splinterlands! I'm back with another mind-blowing update. In a day we have officially crossed into a complete new territory. If you thought my sprint to Bronze I was fast then you would be surprised to know that I have officially broken through the gates and upgraded all the way from Bronze I into Silver III!

I was grinding too hard, like playing continuously because the game is so addictive. My strategic choices were too good and the rewards waiting on the other side. After upgrading to Silver III, I have been facing challenges. For an example I was unable to use the elements that I liked the most and it was getting difficult to win but still after losing a few times, I won anyway.

Let’s break down the decisive battle and the massive loot haul that followed.

The Battle Conditions & Lineup Strategy

  • Mana Cap: 55 Mana
  • Ruleset: Standard
  • Not eligible elements: Earth & Water
  • Other elements are all on the table

I am not used to the restrictions because I was allowed to use any of the elements before but now I have to make hard choices. Gladly, with 55 Mana, I had the freedom to drop some of my favorite cards. I decided to stick with my usual summoner, Thalgrimore, to be honest, he is the best summoner to me, finally it's ready to lay down his signature debuffs and pave the way for an aggressive composition.

My opponent was JETCLARK from the guild WEEKEND WARRIORS, sitting at an 820 rating. Meanwhile, I was fighting under my in-game name, ZOE01, pushing hard to cross the 1090 rating line.

My Powerhouse Lineup Configuration

As you can see the team is now locked in at 48/55 Mana, here is the squad I sent out to secure the Silver tier:

  • Summoner: Thalgrimore (All enemy units suffer a health penalty)

  • Position 1: Nim Guard Captain (melee)

  • Position 2: Spellmonger (no attack)

  • Position 3: Sorrow Harvester (magic)

  • Position 4: Vengeful Monk (melee)

  • Position 5: Great Bear Druid (magic + melee)

  • Position 6: Black Widow (range attack)

My strategy revolved around strong front-line mitigation paired with aggressive backend damage. Positioned perfectly, my high-mana cards were ready to absorb the opponent's initial wave. I would just to always keep Black Widow in the back because it helps a lot from the backline. And frontline should be reserved for Nim Guard Captain only. If anyone uses the same lineup as mine, I'm sure win is 100% guaranteed.

The Clash: Breaking Down the Fight

As you can seey opponent JETCLARK also came to the field with a Thalgrimore lineup, setting up a thrilling mirror-summoner duel. We almost had same lineup. However, their team composition was good but not good enough to match the sheer pacing and synergistic positioning of my squad. The battle was an absolute blowout. My team was literally tearing through their ranks with surgical precision. The entire match lasted only 3 rounds! It was expected because this lineup of mine never loses ( or maybe sometimes). My lineup held the fight beautifully and five of my cards were standing still.

When the grid cleared, it was a flawless VICTORY! As you can see that already and, this decisive win earned me a smooth +20 rating points, bringing my total rating to a flat 1100.

Massive Progression & Loot Reward

Finally reached Silver III and unlocked the finest haul of my Splinterlands journey so far. I have got a massive stash of 15x Silver III Loot Chests! Can't believe I'm already in Silver III. I also opened daily rewards which I have claimed after playing a few matches.

Before opening them, I made sure to check my resources where I had 1 Legendary Potion and 2 Alchemy Potions ready to fuel my luck. Then, I hit "Reveal All" and watched the rewards roll in across multiple screens.

  • Epic Card: Ash Archer

  • Rare Cards: summoner Thalgrimore & Paprikash.

  • Common Cards: Spitting Camel, Hungry Ulund, Colossus Raider, Chaos Furybringer, Spinetail Fiend, Dread Tafarian, and Port Guardian.

  • Potions & Energy: Extra Alchemy Potion Charge and a massive stack of Energy points.

From scraping by in Bronze to standing proudly in Silver III with a collection of new epic card, this has been an unforgettable journey. The season is still on-going and I hope to use the new card additions in my next matches, my aim is already on Silver II. I guess, I will be able to climb higher tier if I keep winning like this continuously. Anyway, see you all on the battlefield!
