Hey Splinterlands lovers! It's me again @zoe01 and I have another Modern ranked battle to show you. This time I was playing my Life team against someone called RLYEUL. I wanted to use a new team and was interested to see if my monsters would do well. I only had 4 monsters but hoped they were strong enough to win against my opponent hehe.

Battle Rules

I had a 37 Mana Cap. I had the Standard Modifier so no special rules. I didn't have any 2nd/3rd modifiers. I had all elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death and Dragon). I had a lower Mana Cap so I had to make sure I chose the right cards. I decided to use my Life team.

My Team

I got life element this time and summoner Incessant Sage. I selected 4 monsters to fight with.

Summoner: Incessant Sage

• 1st position: Twice Yester Knight (Melee attack)

• 2nd position: Sherringham Logger (Melee attack)

• 3rd position: King Erminaz Twincleaver (Melee attack)

• 4th position: Lunaki Howler (Magic attack)

I used my Twice Yester Knight card in the first spot. Then my Sherringham Logger and King Erminaz Twincleaver. I wanted some melee monsters so put my final card in as Lunaki Howler as I like to have magic monsters too.

As I only had 4 monsters I knew I would need to rely on them to win. I hoped they would be strong enough to beat my opponents team hehe.

Battle

My opponent was called RLYEUL. They had an entirely different team. They had a serpentine monster. Their first monster had 12 Health and 5 Armor which made me a little nervous.

The battle commenced and we both attacked. Their front monster was taking damage but they had a high amount of health. My monsters were attacking their other monsters and I was happy to see I was getting somewhere.

After round 3 my opponent still had some monsters left. Their front monster had 9 Health left and another had 5 Health. I was keeping a close eye on the battle to see how long it would take to defeat them.

However, I was happy to see that all my monsters were still alive. I had less monsters but they were doing well. I was hoping they would keep fighting like this.

By round 5 my opponents front monster was defeated. My other monsters were attacking their remaining ones. I saw that all my monsters were still alive and were doing well.

In the end my team defeated all of my opponents monsters and I won in 5 rounds! 😂

I was happy to see that none of my monsters were defeated. Even though I only had 4 monsters they managed to defeat the whole team. I guess I made a good choice with this team hehe.

I got 82 Glint and 20 rating points in Division 9. My rating went up to 360. I was happy to get another win and all 4 of my monsters survived. I think this Life team did very well and may use them again. However, I will have to see who my opponent is next time.
