Today's Challenge is Melee Mayhem, which means that with this combat condition enabled, your melee units will be able to strike from any location. It appears fantastic on the initial turn of play, but if you are not prepared for your opponent's subsequent attacks, you will be outplayed because there are many cards that are quite powerful under this type of rule.
This is my summoner on this condition; we play in a beginner tournament, so I'm essentially selecting a healing summoner from the rebellion edition. Tank healing has a tremendous benefit since it can withstand damage for an extended period of time and protect my rear lines if I can maintain my primary position. However, Melee Mayhem is a threat, so I cannot promise that I will be able to use my summoner's healing effect.
Despite having the healing summoner on the quest, I made an extra effort to gain the healing advantage from Venari Crystal Smith. Healing is an important aspect of my battle strategy in beginner tournaments. It's just that I appreciate having the healing skill since it gives me more confidence when fighting stronger adversaries.
Let's look at the fighting situation scenario. We have 23 mana cap and three elements accessible. Melee Mayhem is a secure ability on this assignment, Unprotected has no armor, and Tis but Scratches indicates that all monster units can cripple an adversary.
I only use four aards on the field, and I make sure to pair them with my incredibly strong trustworthy fighter, the Drybone Barbarian. It possesses the ability of Rage, which increases its speed and allows it to become a good tank while avoiding physical attacks. The healing ability combo makes him resilient and sustainable in the league. I also have Time Mage to slow down my opponent, ensuring a first assault against him.
The combat began with my opponent having a complete set of monsters on the field; when I looked at its card, I was terrified that he would eliminate my Drybone Barbarian in a matter of seconds due to General Sloan's Additional Damage to all range attackers. He also received two healing power units to assist take care of the Pelacor Conjurer. My opponent is adept at selecting cards to combat me.
I was astounded that he was able to play with two healers; it had not occurred to me to devise such a plan; it is an educational opportunity for me, but I do not want to give up on combat, so I continue to observe the fight in order to determine who the most competent player among us is.
All I can say is that my opponent made a huge effort to knock me out of first place. However, he was unsuccessful; I was able to withstand the long battle with my Drybone Barbarian until the last monster on my opponent's field came, preventing the range attacker from attacking in the first position and securing my win.
