My first victories in guild battles

(edited)

Good afternoon and happy Saturday to everyone. Today I bring you my summary of my guild battles, which I'm very happy with. Next, I present a battle (or several) I recently fought, in which, against all odds, I managed to defeat these players who outclassed me by an unimaginable level. Victory or defeat would lie in the small details. 😱

I'd say this was a lopsided fight since I'm not familiar with the game yet😱

My opponent, @chickn03, clearly has better cards than me, some of which I don't even have in my deck. He was using a deck with his Level 1 Chuul Jujinchi summoner from the Rebellion set, while I was using a Level 1 Avina of the Wolf from the Rebellion set. To top it all off, Quora Towershead was one of my units, putting me at a significant disadvantage.

Conclusion of the battle

A clear defeat, I don't have any gladiator edition cards yet.

Second battle against user @sibzero, who used Zeddica as the summoner. As players already know, this card boosts all of his monsters' base stats, suggesting a strategy focused on brute force and speed. But it's clear he was going all out.

I was going all out with the summoner Avina of the Wolf, a card I feel comfortable with, and she's also a summoner specialized in boosting units with stealth, sneak, or evasion abilities.

Conclusion of the battle

My victory was based on several key factors, and a bit of luck as well. My deck was balanced, with a sturdy front and an aggressive rearguard that took advantage of Avina's advantage to pressure the opponent's weaker units. You directly attacked the weak point of their strategy: a fragile and poorly protected rearguard. I was very lucky, but the important thing is that I won my first battle.

Third battle and I think a picture says more than a thousand words

Conclusion of the battle

It's clear that user @ding3520 has fewer cards than me and that's why I clearly beat him.

Fourth battle in which it was clear that the user @aikenn25 has a clear superiority in cards that I still do not have.

Conclusion of the battle

What conclusion do I draw from this battle?

Who would have imagined that my modest teams would be capable of achieving two such surprise victories, because one thing is clear: this was David versus Goliath? I guess nothing is impossible, and sometimes all it takes is a little luck and a good strategy!

I'm increasingly understanding how taking full advantage of my deck's strengths can lead to unexpected results. This is one of those situations where the Davids can beat the Goliaths if they surround themselves with the right team, and of course, all with a pinch of luck.
