Vaynard86 Splinterlands Updates: A 2nd Second Frontier Jackpot Card and Foundation Card Collection Progress

Hi all, good day to all of you. Hope you are doing well this lovely Sunday. It's been really a long while since we have a refresh of Social Media Challenge or Community Engagement. Nevertheless, it had almost become 2nd nature for me to work on a Splinterlands post before I head to bed. And here I am once again and today I would like to give an update on my progress on my foundation card collection and also share my joy of obtaining another Frontier Jackpot card.

Frontier Card Collection status

It's been quite a while since the launch of foundation cards were launched and I guess it is a good time right now for me to take stock of what I have thus far for Foundation cards and see what exactly I am lacking and if it is a significant miss for me in competing.

Let us start off with fire splinter:

Generally all done other that Echelon. Am I losing out much? Not at all because this card barely makes my lineup. Otherwise, this splinter can be considered more or less done.

Next is water splinter:

This will potentially be a problem because Mystic Scaleweaver had been really elusive and same goes for Saltwater Mage. This 2 are essentially the best cards from the foundation cards. First I need to merge Saltwater Mage to level 2 and hope to get 2 more copies of Mystic Scaleweaver. This is a significant disadvantage and I hope it I can get these cards soon.

Next is earth splinter:

Same for earth splinter, 2 key are still not maxed and hoping the daily reward chest is able to show me some mercy and get me copies of Glimmermancer and Giam Root.

Next is life splinter:

Also some missing from the epic and legendary tier for Wild Horse Tamter and Celestial Guardian. Seems like I am always trapped for these. So far the disadvantage for life is still not so bad.

Next is death splinter:

Comparatively still rather developed with slight gaps in Moros Malik and Lenore Nevermore (I have a gold foil max Arcane Curator, not an issue for that). Comparatively not as painful because key cards are all maxed such as Sorrow Harvester and Little Sister.

Finally, the neutrals:

Both legendaries are done but somehow Lunaki Howler becomes the elusive one and still need a couple more copies before max. Not too bad a problem and genuinely very complete.

And to sum it all up, seems like the most of my problems come in the epic group. So many lack of epic cards though Mystic Scaleweaver is something I really want to quickly make it stronger as I lost many matches due to a weaker Scaleweaver than what my opponent had. Kinda sad but it just mean that I need to push harder daily to get more packs and hope it will appear in those packs.

2nd Frontier Jackpot Card

After getting the first jackpot card, I was hoping that I will be able to get one soon but somehow it took quite a while for me to be able to get it. But the wait was finally over as I have obtained another jackpot card recently.

This is an interesting card because this is the first foundation card that is actually below 4 mana. While the stats don't look all flattering, it contains flying and at max, will have tank heal. Making this an awesome meat shield which is hard to get struck and even help ensure front tank gets healed. A max version of this will be tough to handle.

However, jackpot cards are even more elusive than normal ards. I do hope I can get more copies of this card soon.

Wrap Up
I am really glad that I manage to get a 2nd frontier jackpot card. Though the wait was long, I do hope I can get more and more of them to further strengthen my collection.

Not only that, I am more than 80% done with my frontier foundation cards and hoping for a last good push to get the remaining few card and complete the set. I know it is not going to be easy because all of them are of epic or higher rarity. I can just keep to my routine and hope for the best.
