Social Media Challenge - First Time Facing Loving The Moo

Good day to all, hope that all of you are having a good week so far and having many memorable and interesting battles in Splinterlands. In today's sharing, I will be sharing on an interesting match that I had played within the week facing an archon that I have never faced before on the battlefield. As it is really rare to meet this card, I thought I should share some thoughts on this battle that I had.

Loving The Moo

First time I am facing this archon. It has an interesting name called Loving The Moo. And as crazy as it gets, this archon gives bloodline dominion to 2 bloodlines, Canisan and Elemental, how cool is that. And the ability for bloodline dominion is actually poison which is amazing because this ability can really help us out in long matches. And to sweetened the deal even more, this card gives blast and magic reflect to 2 cards in the lineup.

This is definitely not an easy card to face, especially if opponent able to use the boosted bloodline cards in the lineup and start poisoning everyone in my lineup.

So let's dive right in to today's battle sharing.

Selection Analysis
In today's matchup, we have every single splinter available for selection. With everything available, as usual, I chose to use water splinter which so far have been the best performing splinter for me at this moment.

To lead the lineup, I call upon Mariel Singariel, whom is a water splinter foundation archon that gives +1 magic to whole of my lineup. To lead the lineup with a slightly lower mana available, I chose to have Halfling Refugee which is a really strong card that give the biggest bang for the buck for stats though there is a possibility that it will become a sitting duck due to exhaust, but still the stats is good. The next card in the lineup is Abyssal Elemental which has the resurgence ability, this card when killed for the first time will rebirth to full stats and give everyone on opponent lineup a physical attack damage. Next will be Mystic Scaleweaver with slow and strong magic attack, allowing us to have speed advantage for the lineup over my opponent. Up next is Saltwater Mage which has sneak ability and will be able to take out weaker cards from the back. I had Shock Trooper for this that will it my opponent hard just that it has a drawback in damaging whole lineup by 1 every turn. And last but not least, I have Conclave Arcana reward card Mindless Thrall that strikes hard and has phase.

Opponent used Loving The Moo as archon which is a water splinter and boosting Canisan and Elemental bloodlines. First up is a Canisan tank Frankarsgard that is from the foundation set and having a real thick health. Next is Ferrous Brewer, a dwarf that has charge and can hit from within the lineup. Opponent also had Shock Trooper which will be a headache to handle. Next in the lineup is Anasth Soothsayer which can clean and heal. Next up is Stonebind Matron from Conclave Arcana reward set and is a Canisan with opportunity and magic, this is the potential big headache as it can hit weak card easily. Last in the lineup is Conclave Tracker that hits for opportunity and able to repair broken armour in the lineup.

I have 2 headache Cansian with poison to deal with and a other cards that can sustain them longer. It is not going to be easy to defeat this lineup but we'll see how things goes.

Let's go to the round by round synopsis.

Round by Round Synopsis

Round 1 - This is crazily fast paced with loads of attacks flying in all directions and with that both tanks from me and my opponent's lineup got took out. Didn't expect this but yes we are off to a flying start.

Round 2 - My Shock Trooper fell to its own damage but my lineup was strong enough to clear more things on my opponent side till they are left with only 2 cards. How things move so fast.

Round 3 - 2 cards that are much slower than my lineup, we took them out before they hit us and gotten the victory. A fast paced match that allow me to capitalize before opponent can reverse the tide.

Battle Summary
Wow, I was really worried that I will get overthrown because of such a crazy lineup, in the end, my speed actually helped to win me the match. Because of the speed advantage and the crazy amount of magic damage I can throw out, I manage to win the match with a breeze.

However, if opponent were to be able to hold out, the Canisan would have given me a tough time.
