Battle Sharing: Overcoming Elias Max Pruitt and Executing The Whole Lineup

Prelude
Good day to all, how are you doing lately? Apologies for being away for a while, been busy with work and usually come home exhausted. Took a little rest over the weekend and here I am back in action and doing a battle sharing with the community.

Elias Max Pruitt

Here I am to discuss on a match where I met this wheel chaired archon whom 99% of the time when I meet it, I will lose the match. The battle tactics for this card complement it very well.

This card is a pain to face and if I am not careful, accidentally adding in a card with taunt, it could spell bigger trouble. Nevertheless, everytime when I see Barashkukor in my opponent lineup, it is a sign of losing the match. So whenever I successfully win it, it will always be a memorable win, hence I am here sharing with the community on this match which somehow I manage to win. This card has either repair, cleanse, armoured strike or piercing, all of which will really make it tough for its opponents and caused loads of problems.

Selection Analysis
In today's matchup, there were 4 splinter choices available to us for this match: earth, fire, life and dragon. My better set of cards is in earth, hence I chose earth splinter. And I also noted that the mana available is also not high.

To lead the lineup it will be Kaylia Silverleaf, earth elf bloodline archon, giving every single elf execute to strengthen the pressure when opponent card is on low health. To lead the lineup, it is Halfling Refugee. An awesome tank with great stats and exceptionally useful when you are not having loads of mana budget. Next in the lineup is Harlaran Huntress, not an elf but in low mana circumstance, this will be a good pick with charge and flying. Following Harlaran Huntress, it will be Thanalorian Blade, fantastic opportunist to pick out weak cards and finish them off with execution And next in line will be Blackmoor Wild Elf, simple card that punish opponent with 2 magic and also having execution. Last but not least, it is Rune Arcanist which reduces the health of opponent cards by 1 through weaken and at the same time, also an elf to damage using execution as well.

Opponent apparently on the other hand came with Elias Max Pruitt, dual coloured archon which have battle tactics on top of +1 health and +1 armour. Leading my opponent's lineup as tank is Silverleaf Fighter which has flank to enable 2nd position card to strike. And at 2nd position, it is Grimbardun Fighter which has shield and tough to kill. Taking the rear is Meriput Magician which heals the front line. Now the situation is that, many of my opponent's card is armour filled, so if given armoured strike it will really be crazy to handle.

While I do have more cards on the field, but the battle tactics that I will face is going to be a pain.

Round by Round Synopsis

Round 1 - Surprisingly, repair was chosen and given to Grimbardun Fighter. Loads of exchange but we successfully take down Silverleaf Fighter but Grimbardun Fighter easily took out my Halfling Refugee.

Round 2 - Interestingly, my selection might have made it real hard for my opponent because magic can go through armour, so even with repair and all kinds of boost, I manage to take out Grimbardun Fighter.

Round 3 - At last, a good selection of strong magic attackers with execution prove too much for Elias Max Pruitt and its lineup.

Battle Summary
Something that I can really take away from this match is that, having magic attack sufficiently with execute will add alot of pressure even when there is more armour and other armour releated buffs. Elves have been serving well and doing loads of strong battles for me, will try to see how to further strengthen them.
