Battle Sharing: Bloodline Tribute - When Range Attackers Gets Pumped Up

Good day to all, how are you doing this lovely Friday and it is time for another battle sharing where I go up against tough cards or share how certain abilities give strong advantage to win . Today, I just do up another new cover photo so as to give this post series a fresh look. Today's battle sharing will be focusing on how bloodline tribute significantly boost the winning chances of my lineup against my opponent's lineup.

Bloodline Tribute

The ability reads like this:
When defeated, all allied units of the same bloodline gain +1 health, speed, and armor and +1 power for each shared attack type.

For me, this is really good especially if you have the attack of the same type of the card with bloodline tribute as it will significantly boost up the capability of the card with an additional attack. Otherwise, it will only be on the health, armour and speed, which is already very good.

So let's head on to the match itself to see this ability live in action as it a fallen one pumps up the rest of the cards of the same bloodline.

Selection Analysis
In today's matchup, there were 3 splinter choices available to us for this match, namely fire, life and earth. And these 3 splinters are amazing for elves bloodline, so I chose earth and so that I can use the elves bloodline archon.

To lead the lineup, as it is already pre decided that it will be elf bloodline archon, it will be Kaylia Silverleaf to lead the lineup with execute granted to every elf and -1 magic attack to all my opponent magic attackers. Decrepit Windseer which is the card with blood line tribute will lead the lineup. Reason for this card right at the front is to ensure I can trigger Bloodline tribute ability as soon as possible. Next in the lineup is a low mana 2 attack reach attacker, Fenmoor Platypus, decent but a little low in health but the only non elf in the lineup. The next card is one of my favourite elves, Thanalorian Blade which has opportunity and decent stats. And after Thanalorian Blade, these are the cards that will gain the most benefit from Bloodline Tribute. First is a foundation fire splinter elf card, Ash Archer that hits for 2 range attack, Silverleaf Ranger which is a life splinter elf card with double strike and last but not least, Silverleaf Mage which has taunt. The crazy thing about elves is that, the execute is the thing that make them really scary upon stat line boosted.

Opponent used Incessant Sage, which is a foundation archon from Life Splinter. And bringing with it, Saltwraith Buckhead take the tank role which can hit a whopping 4 damage. To further enhance their melee, 2nd card is Janni Rebel which inspires and make melee attack +1 for my opponent lineup. Next card will be Mindless Thrall which has phase and will be a potential problem. Following which is Meriput Magician for the heal and lastly, we have Aria Bandit at the rear with snipe and dodge.

A totally different kind of setup between me and my opponent. My goal is to trigger bloodline tribute while my opponent plans to use a big tank and zap me using magic attack while keeping the tank healed.

So let's dive right into the round by round synopsis:

Round by Round Synopsis

Round 1 - A seemingly boring round 1 because Decrepit Windseer did not get damaged but instead everything flew towards Silverleaf Mage due to the taunt. Not much action, hoping that it opens up in later rounds.

Round 2 - Ok things start to heat up as Decrepit Windseer falls and all my range elves get their attack boost while Thanalorian Blade also got a little stat boost. An enraged Silverleaf Ranger shot Saltwraith Buckhead to death and my Fenmoor Platypus was also zapped to death due to low health.

Round 3 - This round we continue the pressure and take out Janni Rebel. As long as no exhaustion occur, we are going to shower my opponent with arrows.

Round 4 - Not too good as we are missing shots due to the high speed of Mindless Thrall, this round we got further weakened. Hopefully next round the shots will land well.

Round 5 - Suddenly everyone woke up, all the range attackers landed their shot and we successfully cleared everything in this turn.

Battle Summary
If not for the round where the shots don't hit or did not happen due to exhaustion, we could have ended everything in round 4. But nonetheless, that stat boost in range attack together with execute really helped to create loads of pressure onto opponent lineup.

Glad to have a copy of Decrepit Windseer to boost elves, hoping to get the others from other bloodline to boost them up to lead my lineup to victory.
