Splinterlands: Unlocked Wild Silver Tier 2 and also pulled some cards in reward!🔥

Well, after nearly four days into the season and two days of playing in Wild mode, I can say without a doubt that the true fun of Splinterlands lies in this mode. I have to thank @seattlea and @alokkumar121 Brother for encouraging me to try it out. Although I’ve spent a total of 5,000 DEC so far—in addition to the 2,000 DEC for the Wild Pass—I have never enjoyed Splinterlands quite as much as I am enjoying it now. New players need to understand that while Wild mode offers the freedom to use cards from any set in the game's history, it doesn't mean those cards automatically appear in your deck. Since all card sets are enabled for this mode, you have to select and add the best cards—based on your preferences and strategy—by either purchasing or renting them. For instance, I rented quite a few cards for this season; I spent thousands of DEC in the process, and in my excitement, I even added some cards I didn't actually need—but the enjoyment of the game has increased manifold.

And well, in that same spirit of enjoyment, I unlocked Tier 2 of the Wild Silver League late last night; along with it, I received 5 Minor and 2 Major chests as welcome loot, and—as always—I used both Alchemy and Legendary potions for all of them.

And by now, failing to get the Gold card has happened so often that it’s hardly worth mentioning. Setting that aside, the rewards from these five minor chests were undeniably good—better than I had expected. Along with one Entry and 47 Merits, I pulled three decent cards, one of which is even a Rare. I won't lie; I rarely use these specific cards, but for a new player like me, cards hold more value than Merits, Entries, or Energy. I’ve seen high-level cards from older sets in Wild Mode that looked vastly more powerful than their Level 1 counterparts, so I know that even seemingly ordinary cards improve as they level up and will eventually fit perfectly into my strategies.

Well, apart from those five minor chests, I also received two major chests; one contained another entry, while the other yielded another rare card. And by the way, this card is far from ordinary—it is a Dragon-element ranged attack card that I’ve already upgraded to Level 2, boosting its attack power to 2 (you can see the rest of its stats right here). I usually place this card in the second-to-last position; it stays relatively safe there while still being able to attack enemies thanks to its 'Opportunity' ability. With this new copy, I’ve embarked on the journey to upgrade the card to Level 3, and hopefully, I’ll reach that milestone soon. I’ve played so much Splinterlands over the past two days that I’m down to just 4 or 5 units of in-game energy, but unlike the Modern format, my win rate here has remained impressive—consistently above 60%. For this season, my goal is to earn at least 150k Glint and finish in the Gold League. That’s going to be a tough challenge, though, since the mode is dominated by pro players—many of whom use bots that are relatively difficult to beat—but I’ll give it my best shot and keep you updated on my progress.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
