Until the beginning of this year, there was a time when I couldn't progress beyond the Silver League despite repeated attempts. However, after Dev Sir delegated some amazing cards to me, my in-game performance improved so drastically that I broke out of Silver 1, entered the Gold League, and have consistently finished every season there; I even managed to reach Tier 1 of the Gold League on several occasions. Yet, there is now a new hurdle: the Gold League itself has become a major challenge to escape. While I have reached Tier 1 in the Gold League, I haven't been able to go beyond that point so far. Despite doing my best—adding better cards to my deck each season and refining my strategies—I have never managed to unlock the Diamond League. Nevertheless, I keep trying every season, and the result is that, with the new season having started just three days ago, I have already unlocked the Gold League. Along with this, I have received 7 minor and 4 major chests in the welcome loot of gold tier 3.

Loot rewards in Silver Tiers 3 and 2 aren't particularly impressive, but once you move up from the Silver League, your rewards improve across the board. I say "across the board" because I am referring not just to loot chests, but also to Glint and SPS rewards. While factors like Gold cards, league level, and win streaks play a role in enhancing rewards, playing in higher leagues with better cards generally sets you on a path to superior rewards. A prime example of this is the loot I received from the minor chests in my Gold League welcome pack. Here, along with a total of four Common cards, I obtained a Legendary Potion, a Common Scroll, and an Energy unit. Although the cards are Common, they are excellent—especially two that I frequently use in battle: the Earth element magic attack card Stonebind Matron (upgraded to Level 3, granting it +1 Speed and +1 Health) and the Death element melee attack card Thornmaw Berserker (upgraded to Level 3, providing +1 Armor and the 'Final Rest' ability). All in all, even though these came from minor chests, the cards are quite useful.

There is also a remarkable difference in the rewards obtained from Major Chests. Previously, I never received so many cards—especially powerful ones—in the Silver League welcome loot; back then, the chests mostly yielded potions, energy, or merits, with cards appearing only in very rare instances. However, the Major Chests in the Gold League welcome loot are excellent, as I received a total of three distinct cards and six Legendary Potion Charges. While there are three unique card types, the total copy count is eight: I pulled three copies each of two cards and two copies of another. All three cards are currently upgraded to Level 3 and are on the path to reaching Level 4. The most useful among them is the Saltwraith Bulkhead; upon reaching Level 3, it gained the 'Oppress' ability, allowing it to deal double damage to 'No Attack' cards on the opposing team. With a base melee attack of 4, it deals 8 melee damage to 'No Attack' cards—just imagine the impact of that strike! Strategically, you can place this card behind a tank with the 'Flank' ability, or position it anywhere in your lineup during the 'Undercharge' ruleset; its performance will truly dazzle you.
