Now, recall that following the end of the previous season, I mentioned in a post: "Over the past little while, I have used the term 'for the first time' quite frequentlyânot because I intend to sensationalise my posts, but simply because, in reality, I find myself doing something new and unprecedented every so often. This has invariably been the result of a 'me vs. me' dynamic, where, at regular intervals, I break one of my own previous records to achieve something new and superior." And now, as this season draws to a close, I have once again accomplished something that stands as a new record within this "me vs. me" dynamicâmeaning that I do not use the phrase "for the first time" without good reason. Indeed! And this time, the feat is unlocking the GOLD Leagueâa first for me after all this timeâand the greatest credit for this achievement goes to @davemccoy . Sir, as I mentioned, I wouldn't bother you by tagging in every post; however, whenever I achieve something significant, I would certainly share that joy with youâand this is precisely that moment. So, Thank You!đđ

This golden armor looks undeniably beautiful. By the middle of this season, I had already achieved a ranking of 1800, backed by a strong performance. However, over the last 4â5 days, my home Wi-Fi caused me a great deal of trouble; consequently, I was unable to get any work done, and in every battle I played during that period, I kept losing due to various network errors. My ranking plummeted from 1800 to around 1500, and at that point, I began to feel that unlocking the Gold League this season might no longer be possible. However, I decided to switch my Wi-Fi service providerâwhom I had been with for 10 yearsâand installed a new connection. Over the last three days, I returned to the game, climbed back up from a ranking of 1500 to reach 1900 today, and finally succeeded in unlocking the Gold League. Even though I possess a collection of excellent cards, the journey remained quite challenging, as simply owning good cards does not guarantee victory in this gameâyour strategic acumen also plays a pivotal role.

Upon unlocking Tier 3 of the Gold League, I received 7 Minor and 4 Major Chests in the Welcome Loot. This constitutes a superior reward, as unlocking Tier 3 of the Silver League yields only 6 Minor and 3 Major Chests in its Welcome Reward. Even if these chests don't yield anything particularly extraordinaryâsince the outcome is entirely a matter of luckâthe achievement itself remains paramount, and the joy derived from it is something no one can diminish. So, as I mentioned, these loot chests are a game of chance. I decided to put my luck to the test; I even utilised Alchemy Potions to double my luck percentage. Although the odds remain quite slim even after doubling them, I gave it my best shot. And as a result, I received 2 Alchemy Potions, 8 Legendary Potions, some Merits, 2 Common and one Rare Scroll, and 1 Common Card. Wow! This really depends on what you were expecting from these chests; however, if you look at it from a neutral perspective, you realise that what I received is actually fantasticâespecially since I was already enjoying the game regardless. So, regarding the cost of this "welcome gift," the only resources I expended were Alchemy Potionsâand in return, I gained far more value than I spent, given that the number of Legendary Potions I received actually exceeded the number of Alchemy Potions I had consumed. Although the card might not be of immediate use to me, all in all, I am completely satisfied with this reward.đ„

Now, although there are still three days left until this season ends, I likely won't be playing any more battles during this season. Why? Because, as Iâve mentioned before, this is a lesson I learned in trading: whenever a day, week, or month begins, you should have specific goals and limits in place so that when you reach that point, you know exactly where to stop and take a break. For me, unlocking the GOLD League was a major accomplishment; so, now that I have achieved it, I will take a break to celebrate the joy of this success. But I'm not sure, because for one, this isn't tradingâit's a gameâand for another, staying away from Splinterlands for a long time is no easy task. :)
