Splinterlands: Unlocked the GOLD 2 tier again this season!🔥

In the screenshot above, you can see the results of the battle I won to unlock Tier 2 of the Gold League. Immediately upon doing so, I noticed a significant spike in my in-game rewards. Whereas in the preceding tier—Gold 1—I used to receive around 350 Glint and roughly 2 to 2.5 SPS for every battle won, these rewards suddenly surged to nearly double that amount. However, they did dip slightly again later on; as I should mention, reward amounts can fluctuate due to a variety of factors—one of which involves winning consistently, particularly in battles played with higher-level and Legendary cards. Consequently, if your winning streak is broken, the rewards tend to fluctuate as well. I am not entirely certain if this is, in fact, a definitive cause, but it is something I have personally observed. Anyway, it feels good to have unlocked this tier once again this season. After initially unlocking Gold 3 at the start of the season, I experienced a prolonged slump in the game that saw me drop all the way down to Silver 1. However, by subsequently improving my performance, I managed to climb back up past Gold 3 and reach Gold 2 before the season even came to an end.

Do you remember the last time—the very first time this happened—when I was opening the welcome loot received upon unlocking a tier? Instead of using Legendary potions, I used only Alchemy potions; and somehow—I still don't know how—I ended up receiving perhaps 4 or 5 cards, along with several other rewards. So, this time around, I thought to myself: Could that possibly be some kind of hack—that if you refrain from using Legendary potions, you might actually get better rewards? Purely out of curiosity, I followed the exact same process again this time; instead of using both Legendary and Alchemy potions, I used only the Alchemy ones—and then I sat back with my fingers crossed.

And here I was proven wrong; what I had perceived as a "hack" was likely just my luck. Perhaps that is why, last time, I managed to acquire so many cards from the "Welcome Loot"; however, this time around—far from getting anything like that—I received only a single card. Nevertheless, even this one card is quite excellent, and I frequently utilize it in my battles. I already have this card upgraded to Level 2, and I am currently collecting copies to upgrade it to Level 3, after which it will gain the "Oppress" ability—a power that will enable this card to deal double damage to no attack cards, even those with weapon traning.

Furthermore, another great item I received from this loot was Energy—which is absolutely essential for playing the game. Since I have already completely depleted my energy supply twice this season, these 12 units of Energy gave me 12 additional opportunities to enjoy the game. The third item I obtained from this loot was a total of 852 Merits; by spending these, I will be able to engage in Guild Shopping, which will yield a plethora of Gladiator Cards. In fact, I will likely tell you all about that shopping experience tomorrow itself.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
