Advancing the Silver League has consistently been a major hurdle for me in Splinterlands for the past several seasons. I mean, I reach Silver within a few days of the season starting, which increases my excitement. Since there's still more than half the season left, I'm sure I'll make it to the next level this time. But then I spend the rest of the season trying to remain in the Silver League. And this has been going on for a long time, causing me to drop back to Bronze every time the season ends. Well, I don't know the exact reason for this, but it's likely due to a lack of better cards and improved strategies, for which I constantly try to accumulate better cards.
This is the loot you receive as a welcome gift upon reaching the Silver League. You receive a Major Chest along with four Minor Chests, where you can earn various cards, including Alchemy Potion and Merits. Among the many other ways to earn rewards in Splinterlands, this is a unique way to add a variety of great cards to your deck without investing anything additionally, simply by enjoying the game. 🔥

Whether it is shopping for a rarity draw or a loot chest, I always use Potions and let me tell you that till now I have got two Gold Foils and 1 Legendary card by doing this, so the thing is that these potions often prove to help win better cards.
The last two times I'd only been winning common cards from these chests, but this time, I found an Alchemy potion, 207 merits, a common melee card, and a great rare melee attack card. Considering its mana cost and abilities, even a common card can be a good card in certain battle situations, as the freedom to place it anywhere in the lineup makes it a good choice for low-mana battles. However, in comparison, the rare card feels much more powerful and useful. Its attack power is evident, and its speed gives it a distinct edge. Apart from its common flying ability, this card also has the Opportunity ability, allowing it to attack the enemy's weakest card from anywhere in the lineup.
