Splinterlands: Unlocked Gold 2 and got nice rewards in the Welcome Loot!🔥

It took me nearly half the season just to unlock Tier 2 of the Gold League, even though I had been dreaming of breaking out of Gold and reaching Diamond for the first time. I’m not sure if I’ll manage it this season, but I certainly intend to keep trying. Besides, playing Splinterlands is fun in its own right—so even if I don't reach the Diamond League, my main goal while playing is to upgrade as many of my cards as possible to their maximum level before the new card set arrives, because that is when their true power will be unleashed. I just received 8 Minor and 5 Major chests as welcome loot upon unlocking Tier 2 of the Gold League.

Every time I open chests and packs, I make it a point to use Legendary and Alchemy potions—even though I know they rarely come in handy; in fact, Alchemy potions have never really benefited me. Anyway, from eight Minor Chests, I received two Legendary potions, 147 Merits, one Rare scroll, and three card copies—including two copies of the 'Surgehammer' card. I had recently pulled quite a few copies of this card from packs as well, allowing me to already upgrade it to Level 3. Additionally, I got the Fire element magic card 'Cullborn Revenant'; I already have it upgraded to Level 3, and it is just five copies away from reaching Level 4.

Apart from that, from the remaining five major chests, I received two common scrolls, one energy, and 358 merits, along with two copies of a common card. This is a basic Life-element melee attack card that can be a good option in Low Mana battles. Incidentally, it is one of the few cards in my deck that I have upgraded to Level 4; however, the upgrade didn't bring any significant change to its attack power—it remains at 1 melee attack. That said, along with 1 armor, 3 health, and 2 speed, the card has gained the 'Strengthen' ability, which boosts the health of all team cards by +1. While that is a great ability, I do wish the attack power had increased as well; the silver lining, however, is that at Level 5, the attack power will rise from 1 to 2 melee attack.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
