Splinterlands: Spin the Wheel to Claim Daily Rewards!🔥

Based on my local time, maintenance work on the Splinterlands site typically takes place during the late evening or night hours. Sure enough, just a short while ago, the Splinterlands gaming site went into maintenance mode for a brief period. I assumed it was just a routine maintenance update; however, something special was brewing in the backend—something I only just discovered. Today, I had planned to rent some new cards from the Water Element, and I intended to write about a few of those specific cards in today's post. However, when I checked the game right after dinner, clicking on "Play" immediately brought up a notification in the center of the screen that read something like "Daily Streak: Day 1." As soon as I clicked on it, the wheel shown in the screenshot above appeared. It looked quite similar to the "Daily Spin Wheel," and it likely serves the same purpose. While I don't have all the definitive details just yet, it appears you can spin this wheel once every day to earn a variety of amazing rewards. Furthermore, since there are no "empty" slots on the wheel, it is guaranteed that you will receive some kind of reward—much like how I received 3 Energy to play Frontier Battles from this wheel today on Day 1.

Furthermore, by clicking on "SPARK SHOP" located at the top-right corner of that very same page, I was directed to a related page. Here, you can utilize the "Sparks" you've earned from daily wheel spins to acquire amazing Soulbound items. Currently, two avatar items are displayed: a "Vega Top Hat" and a "Vega Background"—both priced at 3,500 Sparks. Additionally, the list of available items includes various card skins. Scrolling down, I noticed a section labeled "Other Items," though nothing was listed there at the moment. Hopefully, different cards will be added to this section in the future; while their cost might be quite high, this feature will steer in-game rewards in an exciting new direction. It offers yet another avenue for you to not only stay engaged with the game but also win various rewards—allowing you to make both your avatar and your cards look even more impressive through the use of card skins.
