In this week's πSplinterlands Social Media Challengeπ I'm going to show you one of my battles in Survival mode where I used some of my recently levelled-up cards for the first time and knocked out the enemy by losing just one card. Battles in Survival mode are the toughest because the cards you lose are disabled for the entire season, and you can't use them in any other battle. Your strategies are put to the real test in this mode.

Thankfully, there was no shortage of mana in this battle, and the ruleset was also standard so it was quite comfortable depending on the battle conditions. In the first place, I placed my recently levelled-up Drybone Megalodon card, which is a powerful melee attack card. After this, in second place, I placed my favourite Pallus. This is also a powerful melee card, and due to its abilities despite being a melee attacker, it can also perform attacks from second position, provides true strike ability to its adjacent cards and also builds a decent protection around itself due to flying ability. Endless Ape is placed at the third position as a silent killer. Without a special ability, it cannot perform attacks from this position, but due to the Scavenger ability, it will silently increase its health by +1 every time any card is defeated on the battlefield. I could have added a card capable of attacking in its place, but there was no replacement for it in my deck. So it is not that this is the best team because you always have to make a team with the cards you have in your deck, so it completely depends on your planning strategy.
After this, I deployed two almost equally powerful magic attackers (Rune Arcanist and Chaos Evoker). One of them with the Blast ability deals 50% damage to adjacent cards, and the other with the Weaken ability reduces all enemy cards to -1 health at the start of the battle. Both of these cards are also level 2 cards. Apart from this, in the last position I have positioned a ranged attacker whose speed is tremendous, health is decent and attacking power is also good, and along with this, the card's Headwinds ability will reduce all enemy cards range power to -1. This is my team with these six cards.
This is the blast of knocking out the enemy's first card in the first round itself. It was even better for this card to be a knockout because it was one of the two most powerful cards in the enemy camp, and even one of its attacks could cause huge damage. In the second round, one of my cards was also knocked out, but after that, once again, another card of the enemy was killed, after which my team again had dominance on the Battlefield.
Above you can see the effect of Chaos Evoker's attack. 2 magic attack power with blast ability at 7 mana cost is a good deal, and after levelling up, its speed has increased by +1, which makes it faster too. And if somehow you can increase its magic attack power with the help of other cards or Archon's powers, then it can turn into a deadly card. Imagine its main attack of 100% power and then its 50% attack to the adjacent card, all in every round. There is only one problem with this, and that is its health is very low, but otherwise, this is a wonderful card.
Just before completely destroying the enemy team, here in 3 back-to-back attacks, 3 enemy cards were knocked out in single hits. The first attack was by a magic card in which another enemy card with blast ability suffered an additional attack of 50% of the main attack. The second attack was performed by my favorite second place melee card, and in this, too, the enemy card was knocked out in a single hit. And the third attack was again by a magic card whose blast glow you can see above and in this attack too, another enemy card lost its life, and now the enemy is left with only one card, which is definitely not going to stand against my cards. But here it is important to understand how my cards were able to maintain this pressure on the enemy from the very beginning. Although I also had to lose two of my cards, and this is a big loss because in survival mode, the knocked out cards are disabled for the entire season, but it is also true that in this battle mode only your strategies are truly tested and although you are enjoying it wherever you are in Splinterlands, but the real thrill is in survival mode. π₯
