So I will also tell you about the easy process of leveling up cards and their benefits, and also show you 7 cards I leveled up today, which will surely help me to improve my strategy in future battles and improve my in-game ranking. You know, every time you win a battle in Splinterlands, depending upon your staked SPS holdings, you get Glint rewards along with the SPS. Glint is the reward currency for ranked play, which you can use to purchase items in the ranked reward shop. Where you can purchase loot chests, resources and some exclusive items in addition to various rarity draws.

I mostly purchase rarity draws in this shop and with the collection of various cards won in these rarity draws, I have constantly improved my strategy and due to winning many of these cards multiple times, I now have collected many copies of some cards, then I remembered that my Splinterlands guide @nozem01 had told me some time ago how we can combine card copies and level them up. knowing this was so exciting, because you see that by leveling up the cards purchased with the rewards won while enjoying the game, you can build a stronger deck without any additional investment, which will help you win many more battles in this cycle, due to which again your rewards will be better and you will be able to add more better cards to your deck.

And by following this process, I won many new unique cards and improved my in-game ranking by improving my strategy, which eventually increased my rewards too, after which last season I earned a maximum reward of 1 SPS for winning a battle. However, this is not a limit; you can win up to 5 SPS and even more rewards on every win by winning higher-ranking battles with better cards.

With this thought in mind, today I visited my deck and saw that I have a lot of cards that have accumulated many copies and are now ready to level up. To find these cards, you can go from Items to Cards on the home page of the game site, where you get to see all the cards available in your deck. Here, as I have shown in the two screenshots above and below, you will see a number with an arrow symbol below your cards. This number tells how many copies of a card you have accumulated, and the arrow tells that now you can level up a particular card. Although a minimum of 5 card pairs is required to level up, still if this number and arrow are visible in yellow color, it means that you have enough copies to combine and level up.

To level up the cards one by one, you must click on each card, where the sign shown below in the status indicates that all these copies are soulbound. This means that you cannot sell, transfer, or delegate these cards in any way. But you can use them completely in your own game and that is why combining them and leveling up is completely allowed and as I told you earlier that technically you need a minimum of 5 card copies, so I selected only 5 copies and clicked on the green plus sign option present in the menu above, after which in a pop-up I got a glimpse of the cards after leveling up from the current card. This pop-up is essentially a confirmation that 5 cards will be combined to form a level 2 card, and this process cannot be undone. Since we don't want to undo it, I simply confirmed.

After which, in a moment, my card got upgraded from level one to level 2 and if you notice, along with the level up, its stats have also been updated and improved. This is the best benefit of leveling up your cards. Now my card has become stronger than before at the same mana cost. Imagine how well it will affect your in-game performance when you keep levelling up all your cards. Below you can see all the cards I have leveled up today, and the stats of all of them have improved a lot, with which, along with better battle performance, my in-game rewards will also improve and this cycle can be repeated. Similarly, if you want to accelerate your growth, then you can also level up by purchasing cards.

Overall, this is an amazing feature. If you are new to Splinterlands, then it is possible that you may not know about it because I also came to know about this benefit several months after coming to Splinterlands. But since I came to know about it, I keep adding many new and old cards to my deck by purchasing rarity draws from my Glint Rewards every few times, which also helps me in making better strategies, playing the game is more fun than before, and my in-game ranking is also good.
