Splinterlands: Purchased 20 Rare Draws at once!🔥

As I mentioned yesterday, I planned to use the total Glint earnings from the previous season to purchase Common and Rare Draws. Today, I decided to go ahead with this plan, so I visited the Reward Shop. First, I bought Alchemy Potions from the consumables section; even though I haven't pulled a single Gold card from the Arcana set despite over a hundred attempts, I keep trying—after all, it’s a game of luck, and if fortune smiles, I could hit the jackpot. Opening 20 Rare Draws required 20 Alchemy Potions. After purchasing the potions, I selected the Rare Draws. The default chance of pulling a Gold Foil card is 0.5%, which I boosted to 1% by using the Alchemy Potions. Even so, a 1% chance is quite slim, making the outcome heavily dependent on luck, but I gave it my best shot, as always. I paid 1,500 Glint per draw for the 20 Rare Draws—totaling 30,000 Glint—plus another 2,000 Glint for the 20 Alchemy Potions; effectively, I spent a total of 32,000 Glint on this endeavor. After that, I simply kept my fingers crossed, hoping to pull the bestest possible cards.

Well, just like every other time, I didn't get a Gold card this time either, but I did manage to pull the highest number of duplicates I've ever received from a batch of 20 cards. Yes, within these 20 cards, I got two copies each of six different cards and three copies of one specific card. Honestly, I’m satisfied with all of them because I use them in my daily battles. For instance, the first card shown in the screenshot below—Saltwraith Bulkhead—is my top choice for a tank; I often position it right behind a card with the 'Flank' ability. You can tell why it’s a favorite of mine just by looking at its stats. As for the Torrent Sniper, I’ve previously bought a dozen copies, upgraded them to Level 3, and sold them on the open market for a profit; now, I have it upgraded to Level 2 again. It’s an excellent pick when playing with Marlai Singariel. Additionally, the Gravebrand Warlock and Dragonfang Lancer—both of which I have upgraded to Level 2—can be used very effectively when placed in the right strategic lineup. Believe me, these cards never disappoint.

Additionally, you can make good use of Surgehammer and Swampwrought in low-mana battles; the Anchor-Hex Adept is excellent for balancing power, and I usually summon it alongside Underboss Fabino or Kaylia Silverleaf. If you are battling in the Fire element and your Archon (or any other card) possesses the 'Swiftness' ability, you should try using the Grove Doomblade—though it works best when paired with a card that has either the 'Taunt' or 'Decoy' ability. Among ranged attack cards, the Pixie-knife Hurler is a great pick; since it has the 'Close Range' ability, its status as a ranged attacker doesn't make it any less formidable. Overall, I like all these cards because they are already part of my deck, and many of them are even upgraded to Level 2. You should also level up your cards periodically, as this makes them more powerful; once upgraded, and with a solid understanding of game mechanics, you can utilize them effectively to improve your gameplay.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
