Throughout this season—and indeed the entire previous one—I noticed a particular card in my opponents' lineups that performed exceptionally well. While there are many such cards, this one in particular was summoned by almost every opponent in most battles, and its performance on the battlefield was consistently impressive—often to the point where the card alone became a major headache. I performed quite well last season, but my performance this season has been rather average; whereas I maintained a 70% win rate by the middle of last season, my current win rate stands at only 52%. The primary reasons for this, as I see it, are the presence of more pro players—or perhaps bots—and this very card, which I have finally purchased and added to my own deck today.

The cost for the max level of this card was slightly over 1,500 DEC. Since I had less than 100 DEC in my game wallet, I first spent 16 HIVE on the #HiveEngine at the current market price—to purchase 1,500 DEC. I then headed straight to the in-game shop to acquire this card, called "Mystic Scaleweaver." It is a card from the Foundation set and belongs to the Water element. At level 1, it possesses 2 magic attack power; at level 2—its maximum level—this increases by +1, reaching a total of 3 magic attack power. Additionally, it features a "Slow" ability, which reduces the speed of all cards on the opponent's team by 1. I have observed that this card performs best when used alongside the Water-element Summoner, Marlai Singariel. Marlai Singariel grants a +1 magic attack power boost to all magic cards on the team, raising the Mystic Scaleweaver’s magic attack power from 3 to 4. Furthermore, its "Slow" ability hinders the enemy team. If you also include a "Shock Trooper" in your lineup, these cards can easily knock out one or two enemy units in the very first round. While—much like any other power, card, or strategy—it is not entirely foolproof, in most scenarios, if you carefully curate your lineup and supporting cards, this card will not disappoint you. I have played 2–3 battles with it since the purchase, and I found its performance truly impressive.
