Splinterlands: Pulled a legendary Dragon-element card!🔥

The entire modern battling system has changed this season, which will significantly impact rewards. Previously, if you ended the season in the Gold League, the season reset to Silver 2 or Silver 1; from the very first battle there, a win would yield rewards of up to 300–400 Glint and 1–2 SPS. However, under the new battling system, starting at Division 9 means rewards have dropped drastically—so much so that, on average, I received only 100 Glint for a win in Division 9. This suggests that Glint earnings could be significantly affected this season. While I don't know how rapidly rewards will increase as I advance through the divisions, right now, they are very low.

Anyway, using earnings from the previous season, I once again purchased a Legendary Draw, which cost me a total of 70,000 Glint. It had a 1% base chance of yielding a Gold Foil card—a probability that could be doubled by using Alchemy Potions. Although I’ve never actually benefited from Alchemy Potions in the past, I used them again as part of the process; and by the way, I should mention that opening a Legendary card requires spending 25 Alchemy Potions per card. Since I didn't have enough on hand, I first bought 100 Alchemy Potions—costing around 10,000 Glint—and then purchased the Legendary Draw, hoping that this might finally be the time my Alchemy Potions worked their magic.

Once again, the Alchemy Potions failed to work their magic. However, the card I did pull is quite good, and I already owned a copy of it. It is "Chuma Marandu" from the Dragon element's Ulund bloodline—a melee attacker. This card packs a punch in terms of attack power, and its other stats give off a truly legendary vibe. With 2 Armor, 7 Health points, and 3 Speed, it is a solid card; despite being a melee attacker, it possesses the "Sneak" ability. This offers the freedom to place it strategically anywhere in the lineup, as Sneak allows you to target the enemy's last-positioned card, helping to flank the opponent effectively. Overall, it is an excellent card. I just checked, and acquiring one more copy will allow me to upgrade it to Level 2; at that stage, it will gain +1 Health point and the "Demoralize" ability. That means increased personal strength combined with a debuff that reduces the power of enemy melee cards by 1. I am excited to get this card to Level 2 soon—hopefully, that happens before long.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
