Splinterlands: Pulled a Gold Foil Card, along with one Epic and one Rare!🔥

You might not believe this, but in Frontier Mode's Bronze 1, I was at a ranking of 960 and needed just two consecutive wins to unlock the Silver Tier; yet, I ended up winning nearly 15 battles before I could finally unlock the Silver League. Want to know how? Well, I got caught in a pattern of alternating wins and losses—winning one battle, losing the next, winning the one after that, and losing the following one. Because of this, it took me over two dozen battles to secure those two consecutive wins needed for the Silver League. However, there was a silver lining: I managed to claim the daily rewards—awarded after every five wins—three times, and I received excellent cards on all three daily rewards.

To be honest, I didn't have any Alchemy Potions when I claimed the first two daily rewards, and I hadn't even thought about buying them, so I couldn't use them. However, just before claiming the third daily reward, I went to the shop and bought some Alchemy Potions so I could use them with these rewards. I also purchased some Legendary Potions; even though the odds of pulling Legendary or Gold Foil cards remain low even with these potions, it’s worth a shot—because if, by any chance, you do pull a Gold Foil card, it would be like hitting the jackpot.

The two cards I won in the daily reward were quite good, especially since I use them in my battles almost every day; getting additional copies will help me level them up in line with my strategy. One of them, in particular, benefited greatly from my Legendary Potion, yielding an Epic ranged card from the Earth element; it boasts 3 ranged attack power for an 8-mana cost—an impressive stat for a card from the Foundation set. Although its health is a bit low, hopefully, that will improve at higher levels. The second card is a Water element melee card that occasionally serves as a tank, though its attack power isn't particularly strong.

In my second daily reward, I received a Rare card alongside a Common one; my Legendary Potion worked its magic here as well. One of these—the grey melee attacker 'New Beluroc Aegis'—features in almost every battle I fight because its 'Taunt' ability is excellent for diverting enemy attacks, allowing the rest of my team's cards to stay in the fight and attack for more rounds. As for the other one—the Death-element ranged attacker 'Moros Malik'—it is a brand-new addition to my deck. Based on my initial impression, it seems like a fairly basic card that I would rarely use; however, if its stats improve at higher levels, it might just make it onto my list of favorite cards.

I used an Alchemy Potion for today's third and final daily reward, and fortunately, I pulled a Gold Foil card. 'Mad Gearhead' is an Earth-element melee attacker that boasts impressive attack power and speed; although its health is somewhat low, I’ve noticed that cards in the 'Foundation' set tend to be quite basic, so, comparatively speaking, its health is actually above average. I already own a copy of this card, but it is a Level 1 version with only 1 melee attack power. This makes the Gold card—which is Level 3—even more special to me, as it comes pre-upgraded and superior; I will certainly use it in battles according to my strategy.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥

When you get to gold level, you would be getting one pack and three entries. Each park contains 5 foundation cards. Wish you good luck as you rank up.
