Okay, this is one of my favorite strategies; however, I cannot use it freely at all times because it relies on cards from a specific element. I can only employ it when the battle rules permit the use of cards from that element and the designated mana cap for the battle is 60 or higher.
You can see the element in the screenshotsâthis team is built using Earth element cards, though it also includes two Dragon element cards and a 'Gray' element tank. Of course, you can swap these cards based on your preference and availability, as the strategy hinges on a crucial card: the Empusan Darkguard. When placed at the very end of the lineup, it uses its 'Shadow Focus' ability to camouflage itself, boosts the entire team's attack power by +1, and grants everyone the 'Determine' ability.

In the screenshot above, you can see a scenario where an opponent might try to weaken your cards; however, the 'Shadow Focus' ability boosts your team's attack power by +1, restoring their strength. It is even better if the opponent makes no attempt to weaken you, as the activated 'Shadow Focus' ability grants every card an extra +1 attack power. Additionally, the likelihood of attacks missing is significantly reduced because your cards possess the 'Determine' ability, which allows an attack to be re-attempted if it misses.

Regarding this particular battle, my biggest concern was the enemy tank "Skrag the Gnaw" and its "Poison Burst" ability; this ability has inflicted heavy damage on my cards in many previous battles because, upon the tank's defeat, it not only poisons the attacking card but also carries a 50% chance of spreading that poison to adjacent cardsâsomething that frequently happens to me. Thankfully, that didn't occur in this battle, but even if it had, victory certainly wouldn't have come easily to the enemy; my cards exerted immense pressure right from the start by unleashing their powerful attacking abilities against the opposition.

So, I won this battle quite easily, losing only a single card; in fact, I win most of my battles using this strategy unless the opponent has powerful, high-level cardsâmeaning it rarely lets me down. Now, let's talk about the outcome beyond just the victory itself. Even while playing in the Gold League in Splinterlands, I had never earned more than 500â550 Glint from a single win; however, this seasonâfollowing the introduction of the new Modern battle systemâI am earning 700, 800, 900, and even over 1,000 Glint per battle while still in Division 6. Among all of these, the Glint reward from this particular battle stands out as the most impressive one I have ever received.

Bzzz, Empusan Darkguard giving +1 attack and "Determine" to re-roll misses sounds like a nasty little engine once it's camouflaged. đ Dodging Skrag the Gnaw's poison spread clean this time was a nice bit of luck too. Big Glint jump this season â congrats on the battle!
