Splinterlands: Not the most powerful, but the most important!🔥

This is my latest Brawl battle, in which, despite having two Legendary Archons, I chose a Rare Archon because Archons are chosen based on the conditions of the battlefield, not their superpowers. For example, if this battle had no ruleset and the mana cap was slightly better, I would have chosen a Legendary Archon because I have both Legendary Archons available in my deck, and best of all, I have the best cards to best utilise their powers. But this battle had three rulesets, not just one, and all three were unique. One of these, High Five, allows the player to summon only five cards; the second, Wands Out, allows the player to summon only Magic cards in this battle; and the third, Born Again, gives every card the power to rebirth with 1 health and 100% armor.

Since only Magic cards can be summoned, I thought it would be best to do something that would deal -1 attack power to all the enemy's Magic cards. For this purpose, I had an archon in my deck, Elf Kaylia Silverleaf, so this was the primary reason for choosing a rare archon over Legendary Archons. Furthermore, Kaylia Silverleaf, though not directly, could, with her Execute power, grant cards of her bloodline two attacks on the target if the target had 2 or fewer health after the first attack. This was an additional benefit of Kaylia Silverleaf, helping to strengthen the team. Since only five cards could be summoned, I gave one spot to Quora Towershead, who, with her 2 Magic + 2 melee attack power, along with the Bloodlust and Heal abilities, was nothing short of a super card. The power of Rebirth, on top of that, made these cards even more superior. I specifically added another card to my team that had the Weaken ability, which caused all enemy cards to suffer -1 health before the battle even began. One big mistake my opponent made was focusing solely on summoning Magic cards rather than their other stats, especially their health, because armour is useless against Magic cards anyway.

In the screenshot above, you can see the battlefield after Archon and the cards have distributed their powers. Looking at the enemy team's condition at the start of the battle, I felt, and perhaps you too, that my tank, Quora Towershead, would be enough for this team. Although all my cards performed well in the battle and each contributed, the way Quora Towershead strengthened itself with its Bloodlust ability was a sight to behold. This is why I'm not showing you every attack and every blast from this battle, as it's more fun to watch it in full via the battle link. Some battles, you know you're going to win before they even begin, and this mostly happens when you not only build an exceptional team but also when your enemy makes a mistake. Because otherwise, the battlefield conditions were the same for both players, so it was possible that the opponent would have brought a better team with their own strategy, and I would have had to struggle to win this battle. But it's also true that if you consider the ruleset, mana cap, and elements of your opponent's recent battles, not only when summing cards but also when choosing an archon, you can build a team that can give the enemy a tough fight. Although victory or defeat is still not in anyone's hands, in the long term, you will be able to improve your performance in Splinterlands and climb the rankings. Eventually, your rewards will improve, and you will enjoy the game more.
