This is the first card in my deck from the Conclave Arcana set in the Dragon element that I upgraded from Level 1 to Level 2 today. I actually only had one extra copy of the required number of copies, which was also unbound. I probably would have unbounded it initially. Now, in addition to that one unbound copy, I have 5 additional copies, so today I finally upgraded it to Level 2. I was especially careful not to combine my already unbound copies, because in that case, the Level 2 card created after the combined 5 copies would become completely soulbound, and since I had already unbound one copy using a rare scroll, I didn't want to use that copy for this card. You (new players) also need to keep in mind that if you keep soulbound and unbound cards together in the copies to be combined, then your new card made after levelling up will become soulbound again.

Until now, I rarely used this Dragon card because, while its stats, health, armour, and speed are all quite good, and its Opportunity ability helps target enemy cards with low health, one major drawback was its attack power. I often thought that if its attack power were a little better, this card could have been a good attacker. With only a single ranged attack power at a cost of 6 mana, it didn't appeal to me as much. But guess what, the only improvement this card has received after upgrading to Level 2 is its attack power, which has now increased from 1 ranged attack to 2 ranged attacks. This is a really good update, especially for me, as everything else in its stats was already good, but the only thing missing was its attack power, which now, at Level 2, can make this card a moderate addition to my lineup in battles. Excited by this upgrade, I checked the changes that would happen when it reaches other levels and found out that at level 3, it would only get an increase in armor, which I don't find very exciting, so obviously I won't be that excited about it, but slowly if it gets further leveled up, there is no doubt that the rewards you get on winning games will improve because as I told you in my yesterday's post, the higher the level and better rarity of cards you play and win battles with, the better your in-game rewards become and you are eventually able to move towards adding better cards to your deck.

Now, since I put aside my first copy and combined five copies, I have a Level 2 Soulbound Dragonfang Lancer Rare card and a Level 1 Unbound Rare Dragonfang Lancer card, which I own outright, so I can trade them whenever I want. While I don't have any plans to do so right now, if I do, I could easily sell them on the open market and make some DEC.
