Splinterlands: Levelling up 2 RARE CARDS Together!🔥

Regardless of what's happening around the world, today in Bharat (India), we celebrate Holi, the festival of colours. I've noticed that most non-Hindus around the world think of Holi as just a day of colours, music, and dancing, but in reality, this day is considered a celebration of the victory of good over evil. The recently released film Mahaavatar Narasimha (available on Netflix) depicts the story behind this festival, about how a demoness, blessed with the boon of invincibility even in fire, burns to death, and a devout boy is saved by his unwavering faith and devotion to God, symbolising faith, trust, and true love for God. Therefore, on this day, people set aside their differences, embrace each other, apply colours, eat sweets, and celebrate the new life in nature with the arrival of spring.

So, on this festival of victory of good over evil and faith, my heartiest greetings to all of you. May you be blessed with Happiness, Success, and Peace!😊🙏

With the numerous rare draws I recently purchased and the cards I won in Tier Loot after ranking increases, I now have two new cards in my deck that are pending levelling up. When I visited the deck today, I noticed that both are rare cards, although they belong to different elements, and both are Magic Attack cards. One is a card from the Fire element, belonging to the Drakoshan bloodline, which comes with 2 Magic Attack Power and some Basic stats at level 1. So, I was obviously expecting a boost in its health when it levelled up. The other is a card from the Earth element, belonging to the Elemental bloodline, with 1 Basic Magic Attack Power and decent other stats. So, I would have been very happy if its Attack Power increased at level 2.🔥

But the changes that came with levelling up were no less impressive. Based on a basic understanding, I was only expecting stat improvements, which is what any new player would normally expect. But the game gave me something even more special: abilities. A Fire-element card with very low health, it seemed like a weak card. I wanted to see its health or armour increased so I could use it more confidently in battles. Now, upon upgrading to Level 2, it gains an ability called Void, which protects it from magic attacks by 50%. In a way, this ability does the same thing I expected from its health. However, it has no comparison to health, as it only protects against magic attacks, while health protects against all types of attacks and damage. But if you see the glass half-full, this isn't a bad update.

The secondary life element card, from which I was expecting more attack power, gets the Camouflage ability in the level, which will protect this card in the lineup until this card comes to the first position (frontline). I wanted this card to have more attack power, which would be used to perform more big attacks, and this one got the Camouflage ability, which would protect this card for a longer time, enabling it to attack for more rounds, not just big attacks every time, so this also worked out as I wanted. Yes, it is not exactly the same, but as I said, if you appreciate it by looking at the glass half empty, then this is the same situation. And by the way, I should not use the glass example in this because it is not that something was promised and something less happened. It is a matter between my hope and what was destined to happen, so there is no doubt that both the cards have become stronger in level 2 and hopefully they will become even stronger in level 3 which won't take much time because with the improvement in my in-game performance, my rewards have also improved and now with more glints, I am able to purchase more draws than ever before. ✌️

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
