Splinterlands: Legendary Card Gramel the Hunger has been added to My Deck!🔥

With Captain Frankie, I had a win rate of over 80% in Splinterlands battles, but in some areas where I didn't perform well, one reason was that in very low mana battles, you have very limited options, especially if you're relying on specific card powers or abilities. Captain Frankie's Bloodline has rare cards with good health, which allows you to confidently place them in your lineup because being heavily armoured isn't enough if you don't have the health to withstand enemy attacks and remain strong on the battlefield. So, I basically needed some more good cards that could contribute significantly to my battles, both with and without Captain Frankie.

So I went to the market where I found Gramel the Hunger, a legendary neutral card that I liked the most. You might remember that my first purchase on Splinterlands was also a grey card, Pallus, and the reason was similar: because grey cards can be summoned with any element, adding grey element warriors is a better option than buying super cards for each individual element. Besides that, Gramel the Hunger is a great card because it possesses all three attack types: ranged, magic, and melee, which gives it a distinct advantage.

I've seen some other powerful melee attackers or attackers with both melee and other attack powers in different rarities, but they often lack the ability to perform melee attacks from anywhere in the lineup. However, this card doesn't have that limitation because it comes with the Charge ability even at level 1, which gives it the freedom to perform melee attacks regardless of its position in the lineup. So, with 2 range, 1 magic, and 1 melee attack power, this card's basic attack power is already 4, and if you combine it with Captain Frankie's special Inspire ability, you can easily boost this card's attack power to 7 or even 8.

And not only can you increase the attack power of this card with Life Element captain Frankie and Earth Element's Fabino Underboss, but you can also boost its melee attack by +2, taking the total attack power from 4 to 6, which would be a significant threat to the opponent. However, to mitigate this card's attack somewhat, it also has the Scattershot ability, which causes its magic and ranged attacks to target random enemy cards. So, basically, this card's attack gets slightly divided, but the important thing to understand is that it doesn't decrease. So, even with this minor flaw, it's an awesome legendary card that everyone should have in their deck. Well, I've already spent quite a bit this season, and I still need to save up to purchase Captain Frankie, so for now, I haven't purchased this card but have rented it. I'll probably rent it for the next one or two seasons as well because I want to test it in every possible situation. Once I'm completely satisfied with its performance, I won't hesitate to purchase it.😎
