Well, as I mentioned in yesterday's post, the very first thing I did this season was rent the Earth Element's Elowen Sylphie Archon. I did this because I didn't possess this card last season, and I felt its absence quite keenly. Now that this Archon has been a part of my deck since yesterday, I haven't felt bored with the game at all this time around. So, my decision to play battles in Frontier Mode wasn't driven by boredom, nor was it because my energy had been completely drained in Modern Battle Mode. I recently discovered that winning cards as rewards is somewhat easier in Frontier Mode compared to Modern Mode. Furthermore, since I’ve recently observed my opponents utilizing powerful cards—such as the Mystic Scaleweaver and Celestial Guardian—that delivered impressive performances, I thought to myself: "Why not play a few battles in Frontier Mode as well, and try to acquire some equally spectacular cards for myself?" It was precisely this thought that led me to Frontier Mode; and by this morning, having made a significant leap in my rankings across both modes, I successfully unlocked Tier 2 of the Silver League in Modern Mode and Tier 2 of the Bronze League in Frontier Mode.

Along with this, I received some excellent rewards. Upon unlocking Tier 2 of the Silver League, the welcome loot I received included 1 Rare Scroll, 2 Energy units to ensure uninterrupted gameplay, 5 entries for weekly rewards, and 81 Merits; in addition to all this, I also obtained 2 excellent cards. I should mention that—despite having failed every single time in the past—I once again used Alchemy Potions to open these chests; however, the result remained exactly the same as always. But never mind—at this point, it has become a routine occurrence. As for the cards I received, both of them were ones I already possessed and had upgraded to Level 2. These new copies will now contribute toward upgrading those cards to Level 3. Among the two, I particularly favor the Death Element card, Thornmaw Berserker, because at Level 2, it gains a new ability called Final Rest. This ability blocks powers that typically activate upon a card's death—such as Rebirth, Resurrect, Resurgence, and Soul Sip. This ability proves to be incredibly useful during battles.

Furthermore, upon unlocking Tier 2 of the Bronze League in Frontier Mode, I received a "Welcome Loot" package which, in addition to 1 Energy, yielded a total of 4 cards. Although I already possessed copies of all these cards, none of them had been upgraded to Level 2—simply because I had never actually played any battles in Frontier Mode. However, I now intend to make an effort to play a few battles in Frontier Mode every day, thereby initiating the process of upgrading these—along with many other fantastic cards like them—to higher levels.
