After a long hiatus, another round of Guild shopping kicked off yesterday. As far as I recall, I hadn't visited the Guild Shop even once throughout the entire previous season; consequently, I had accumulated over 7,000 Merits during that time. This was actually the first time I had ever seen such a large number of Merits all at once, as typically, the moment I reached 2,000 Merits, I would immediately purchase a Gladius Case. But anyway, now that I had such an abundance of Merits, I decided to purchase the maximum number of cases possibleāa decision I made because someone had told me that when you open a large batch of packs simultaneously, the chances of pulling cards of higher rarity and Gold Foil cards increase significantly. To do this, at a rate of 2,000 Merits per Gladius Case, I ended up spending a total of 6,000 Merits. And then, I headed over to that Great Well in Splinterlandsāthe place where all manner of packs are opened.

The one who suggested to me that opening multiple packs simultaneously increases the chances of obtaining higher-rarity and Gold Foil cards was absolutely right. After playing in the Guild for such a long timeāand purchasing dozens of Gladius CasesāI had previously received a total of only three Gold Foil cards. Today, however, I obtained yet another one: a Level 3 card with excellent stats at a Mana cost of just 5. Consequently, my deck now boasts a total of four Gold Foil cards. I only wish there were a way to make these cards "unbound"! š Anyway, aside from that, I also pulled an Epic card from these casesāand itās a great one, too. When I say "great," I mean that I am genuinely excited to use it in my battles; after all, this Epic card isn't particularly expensive in terms of Mana cost, especially when you consider its impressive attack powerānot to mention its solid health stats. Additionally, I received four Rare cards, with the remainder being Common cards. Among the Rares, the Relenor Cleaver and Palidon Rakk were the ones that impressed me the most; although both cards were already part of my deck, I now possess extra copies of themāalong with several others. I suspect some of these cards are just itching to be levelled upāand I intend to do just that! Iāll be sure to keep you updated on their enhanced abilities, so stay tuned!š„
