Splinterlands: How I use the Legendary Rebellion Archon, Elias Max Pruitt!🔥

I am sharing this perticular battle with you today, but the strategy remains almost the same for every battle, even if the specific cards change. Let's look at this particular battle: due to the 'Weak Magic' ruleset, magic cards didn't hold any special significance. In such situations, beyond just balancing power, I focus either on boosting speed—to secure the first strike and gain an early upper hand—or, if that isn't feasible, on summoning cards with high health and armor. This ensures that the enemy's attacks must first impact my cards' armor, allowing them to stay in the fight longer. To achieve this, I often include a card with the 'Protect' ability alongside the Legendary Human Archon, ; however, in today's battle, I opted to place another melee card in the last position. Its role wasn't to attack, but to absorb damage and act as a protective shield for the rest of the team. I positioned the rare yet powerful Legendary melee card, Saltwraith Bulkhead, directly behind a card with the 'Flank' ability on the frontline.

A key reason for this is that, in addition to its 6 armor, the card boasts an impressive 9 health points; its attack power justifies why I consider it as potent as a Legendary card. However, it does have a weakness—its "Weary" ability—which explains its classification as a Rare card; this ability causes the card to become increasingly exhausted, reducing its attack capability by 10% each round starting from the very beginning. Consequently, in many battles, it fails to launch a single attack from start to finish, with its offensive output typically beginning to wane after just two or three rounds. Yet, even if it doesn't attack, its combined health and armor make it an excellent shield. Since I expected it to remain active for at least one or two rounds, I equipped it with the "Piercing" and "Armored Strike" abilities from the Legendary Archon Elias Max Pruitt. From a strategic standpoint, any heavy-armor card could substitute for the Saltwraith Bulkhead, provided you fully utilize the "Armored Strike" ability and ensure the card remains as protected as possible—whether by positioning a heavy tank in front or placing a card with the "Taunt" ability in your lineup.

Simply start the battle and watch how this card devastates the enemy by launching an additional attack with its heavy armor. Its two attacks feel somewhat like a "Double Strike," usually sufficient to completely knock out an opponent's card. Of course, an attack might miss—something beyond our control with this card—but if it lands, the combination of Piercing and Armored Strike will undoubtedly prove to be a nightmare for the enemy. That is exactly what happened in this battle; while all the other cards played their roles well, this card's performance truly stood out.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥

Sometimes a card doesn't need to deal the most damage to be valuable. Using a high health and high armor monster to protect the rest of the team is a clever approach. Congratulations on the win.
