Splinterlands: Ended the season with the biggest Glint Reward to date!🔥

There is no doubt that this was one of the most enjoyable seasons yet. Due to personal commitments during the final few days, I wasn't able to play as much as I would have liked; however, thankfully, I had already secured my spot in the Gold League before that happened. I even climbed 100 ranks, pushing my rating up to over 2000. Yet, since I was technically still in Tier 3 of the Gold League, my rank reset to 1400 at the end of the season. Nevertheless, this season I earned the largest Glint reward of my entire gaming journey so far. If I were to look back just two seasons ago, earning such a substantial reward wouldn't have even crossed my mind. I recall that—perhaps back in February—I saw a post by @finpulse a player blogging about his Glint spending that was of roughly this magnitude; I commented on his post, asking how he managed to acquire such a large amount, as I genuinely believed it was impossible to earn that much Glint in a single season. Yet here I am today, having managed to earn almost exactly that same amount myself. Furthermore, this season saw me play my highest number of battles to date—263 in total. Although my win rate didn't see any improvement, my overall earnings received a significant boost—a result largely attributable to battling in higher tiers using my new and higher-level cards.

If you are a regular follower of mine, you would know that, starting from the end of the last season, I implemented a major change in my strategy regarding the spending of Glint Rewards. Consequently, I now aim to spend 70,000 Glint to purchase a Legendary Draw. However, this is such a substantial amount that, initially, I thought simply accumulating this much Glint would be a monumental task in itself; I even wondered if I would be able to purchase a Legendary Draw every season. Nevertheless, I resolved to give it my absolute best shot—and thanks to those efforts, I performed so well last season that I successfully earned slightly more than 70,000 Glint. Thus, the time had finally come to go shopping at the Rewards Shop. Opening a Legendary Draw requires 20 Alchemy Potions; so, I first purchased a few Alchemy Potions in the hope that this draw would yield a Gold Card for me. Then, utilizing those potions, I proceeded to purchase a Legendary Draw at the cost of 70,000 Glint.

Although I didn't receive a Gold Foil card, this card is by no means bad considering its Mana cost. It is a Ranged Attacker card of the Earth Element, named SIRA—quite possibly the card with the shortest name among all those currently available in Splinterlands. SIRA belongs to the Avian bloodline. I particularly like this card because its stats are remarkably superior relative to its Mana cost. Furthermore, it can be utilized comfortably in low-Mana battles; while its Health and Armor are admittedly quite low, its "Camouflage" ability provides it with a unique level of security. Consequently, under normal battle conditions—unless it ends up in the first position—no opponent will be able to target it with an attack. Thus, despite its low Health and defensive stats, the Camouflage ability grants it a distinct form of protection, making it an excellent choice—especially in low-Mana battles—to be positioned at the very end of one's lineup.

My primary goal for this new season is to earn 140,000 Glint, so that by the end of the season, I can purchase not just one, but two Legendary draws. Additionally, I will make every effort to reach Gold 1 and finish the season at that rank. At the same time, I am planning to purchase approximately 5,000 to 10,000 SPS tokens; hopefully, I will be able to complete this purchase during this very season. This is because, aside from Hive, SPS is the only token I view with absolute confidence; furthermore, since it is currently trading at a very low price, accumulating it will allow me to increase my stake within the game.😎 Thank you to everyone who has ever supported me in this journey!🙏

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
